I'm normally not one to leave bad reviews. Especially not for Chick-Fil-A, which I happen to love. But this particular experience really peeved me off. We showed up on Saturday night right before closing. We were passing through on our way home from Omaha to Indianapolis, and the kids were hungry. Saw the sign and of course we all simultaneously agreed that this was our go-to. Pulled in, ordered, recieved what seemed like typical awesome service. Here is where things went sideways: As we pulled out onto the street, my daughter announced they didn't give us any fries. Like none. We paid for 3 orders. Okay, everyone is entitled to a mistake from time to time. No biggie. I whipped the car around and pulled back in. By this time they had closed, so I knocked on the door and got someone's attention. The kid grabbed the manager and pointed to me, standing there holding a bag at the door, 3 minutes after closing. The manager then apparently told everyone to ignore me, and they all went back about their business, cleaning and mopping. I went back to the car and grabbed my phone to call the store and explain why I'm standing outside holding a bag, and of course the phone goes straight to the standard "sorry, we're closed, here's our hours, blah blah, God bless" message. So I turned and walked back up to the window, just as the employees were PULLING DOWN THE BLINDS, so they wouldn't have to look at the poor dad out there whom they had just swindled out of his money for waffle fries that I assume at this point they knew damn well the didn't give me. Of course at this point my blood is boiling. But what else could I do? I kept my composure. I had to take my minivan load of hungry kids and grab fries from McDonald's up the street. But I vowed I would share my story with the internet, in hope that the sorry excuse for a manager at the Chick-fil-A in Champaign Illinois will hear how badly they disappointed a previously very loyal customer. Probably means nothing to her, but it should. If you're reading this, I hope you come down with a case of explosive diarrhea with frequent sneezes, next time you're...
Read moreI have been super upset with my experiences at the Champaign Chick-fil-A so far. My first visit, all of my food was correct however the wait was extremely long (understandable). My second visit, I ordered on the app. I ordered grilled chicken nuggets with two sides of CFA sauce, side of mac, and a drink. As I picked my order up, they had forgotten my drink, but I grabbed it before I left. When I arrived back at work to eat, I noticed that I hadn't gotten any of the sauces that I had ordered, I was short several nuggets, and my nuggets were very cold (colder than they should have been for a 5 minute drive in a very warm car). I called the store immediately and let them know that as I was unable to come back at the moment (I didn't have enough time on my break left), that I would like to come in some other time this week to get my order corrected. The man that I spoke to on the phone took all of my information, apologized and was very pleasant to speak with. Today I went in to get my order corrected and was very disappointed to find out that my information was not in the system and that I needed a 'receipt' to get my order corrected. As I had created a mobile order I showed my mobile receipt but was told that this was not the receipt that was required, although I was never given another receipt. I was surprised that the 'First Lady' was not very pleasant or willing to be accommodating as the situation primarily occurred due to her employees not checking orders or preparing them properly. I've been coming to Chick-fil-A for 5 years now and this was my last time as I don't want to deal with...

Mr. Dan Harrison shared that he became the new owner in July and that the negative service that I and many others have received will change under his leadership. I am very appreciative of his effort I want to reflect that my issue has been addressed. I truly appreciate Mr. Harrison reaching out.
I ordered some food via the app from home, and went to go pick it up. App said 11 minutes based on my location at the time. I get in the drive thru and more time elapses. I then go back home another 11 minutes. I realize that I didn’t get all of my food, but didn’t want to waste what I had so I ate one of my sandwiches and fries. I head back to the restaurant (11 more minutes) and get in line. I explain to the cashier my situation which he shares with a lady manager. Then I wait and wait and wait. Finally the guy comes back and says “since it’s been over an hour, you have to call this number to get this taken care of.” I was flabbergasted! Are you kidding me? Whatever happened to Chic-Fil-A’s customer service that was so good, people made social media videos joking about it? You know how they will chase your car down because they forgot to give you some napkins. Well this was not that! What’s worse is that I now have to reorder some food because it what my wife and I had for dinner and she had not eaten because she it wasn’t in the bag. Chic-Fil-A do better!! And I have receipts for all of it! That’s strike one with me. Two more and it’s Slim Chickens and Canes...
