Mo's Burritos Restaurant — Restaurant in Champaign

Mos burritos is a very small restaurant near downtown Champaign. I think it’s more of an order take out spot as my partner and I were the only ones sitting at a table. Service was not very good. The waiter moves at a snails pace. The chips and salsa are amazing as is the cheese dip. Which they give a ton of cheese for the dip. My partner ordered the lunch tacos with a side of sour cream. I ordered the Burris Torta w/ fries. The tacos came out and they looked delicious! They forgot the sour cream and it took about 5 min for them to bring it out. My sandwich came out about 10 min after my partner got his tacos. I told him to go ahead and eat because I didn’t want it to get cold. When my sandwich came out I immediately saw they didn’t have the fries. The waiter said he was going to bring the fries out later. Which was strange. I ate half my sandwich and my lunch break was over so I needed to leave. then my fries came out. I didn’t eat any and asked for a to go box for the rest of my meal. i was drawn to this place because it had pupusas on the menu and wow they did not disappoint. i was craving one so bad and i was expecting it to be tiny, but it was decently sized and filled (i got cheese and beans) for the price. i also got a beef taco (flour tortilla) and it was sooo bomb as well. for a total of about $5, i was very filled and satisfied with just one beef taco and one pupusa. the hot sauce that was provided was actually extremely spicy and i appreciated it. don't underestimate this place because of its size, the food is superior in taste and authenticity especially for the extremely affordable prices. best authentic Mexican...

I don't leave reviews, but after having a Taco Salad at Mo's Burritos Restaurant I felt I needed to share how impressed I was with this place. The service was excellent! They also serve the very best homemade tortilla chips I've ever tasted, and their salsa and pico de gallo were very flavorful. Then the taco salad came and it was the best I've eaten by far. Plenty of well seasoned meat, just the right amount of lettuce, fresh cilantro (don't find that very often) and a great taco shell. You will not be disappointed! And the price was very reasonable.
