I recently visited this Starbucks location and was disappointed by the subpar experience.
The restrooms were not properly maintained, with trash scattered about, dirty mirrors, and no toilet paper. After using the restroom, I had to call the store to request toilet paper, which was embarrassing.
Furthermore, my customized order for 2 extra hot, Venti Matcha with oat milk, no foam was repeatedly prepared incorrectly, with excessive foam and clumps of Matcha tea floating, and the sugar was not added. I was directed to add the sugar myself, which was not feasible given my time constraints.
The baristas on duty failed to provide adequate support to their colleague or assistance, reflecting poorly on the location. Not once did the manager intervene to assist.
This establishment requires additional training, resources, and a commitment to professionalism to meet Starbucks' standards.
Starbucks as a corporation must prioritize consistency and quality across its locations to maintain customer loyalty.
As a frequent customer who consumes quite a few Matcha teas daily, I was aware of the suboptimal taste.
Being told by a barista that the drink was prepared correctly and could not be improved was insulting and unacceptable. I expect better quality and service.
A refund was requested...
Read moreNO DIAPER CHANGING STATION! PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS WITH BABIES/ TODDLERS IN TOW NOT WELCOME🚫👶🚼⚠️ 🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊 We were traveling 16 hours round trip from Indianapolis to Iowa and back for Memorial Day weekend, and I was craving my fave Starbucks hot chocolate. We pulled off the exit specifically to go to the Starbucks st 2702 N Prospect Ave, Champaign, IL.
While I proceeded to order, my husband realized our 19 month old granddaughter had an emergency diaper situation going on. When I asked the employee if the men's room had a diaper changing station, she curtly and with no apology informed they did not have a changing table in either restroom, and the nearest one was located at the local Walmart! So much for sitting and enjoying my paid for beverage and taking a break on our long trip back from Iowa to Indianapolis. Come on Starbucks- what's the message here? No little ones welcome? I do a lot of business at Starbucks, mostly drive-thru, and since I am a grandma I have no idea if this is standard practice to not have changing tables. I DO know in the Indianapolis area, the curt and unapologetic behavior of the employee behind the counter is certainly not standard for Starbuck's in...
Read moreThis starbucks location is the worst location I have ever been to in my enitre life, I have been to a bunch of different Starbucks all around the country and this is by far the saddest one I have been to. If i could rate a 0 i would. Today I went in because I had a drink made and the drink was wrong. According to their "Barista Promise" if the drink is not made correctly they will "gladly" remake it. So that is what I asked and when I got to the window I offered to give my drink that was made wrong to the guy with the curly hair and he said "Store rules i cannot take this back" so we waited and he is like "well I can't give this to you for free!" I was beyond angry because if this man was to look up my card i spend over thousands of dollars at Starbucks and he thought i was trying to get a free drink out of a drink i already paid $5 for a they made wrong. I am beyond angry and I am still waiting for the manager to contact me about this situation. I hope no one experiences this from this...
