Been going to this location for years and I am absolutely disappointed and disturbed by the service my dad and I received tonight at the drive thru...
Our order was pretty simple, 2 soft chicken tacos with NO cheese and 4 classic grilled chicken burritos as is. That was it. I am used to checking our orders when we request no cheese because mistakes happen.
When I noticed that there was cheese on the soft chicken tacos, I waved at the window to get some aid from the staff. A young man with blue eyes came back and I let him know super politely we ordered no cheese on the soft tacos and these 2 came with cheese. He questioned me a few times like, "you don't want cheese or you do?" Repeating it a couple more times. I showed him the receipt to verify it said no cheese.
He asked for the bag back as if he didn't believe me, which fine in this day and age, but odd because of food contamination from me. He and the other young woman on duty were going back and for for about 5 minutes behind the window while discussing something with the cooks. They opened both tacos from what I could see without gloves to show the cooks the 2 tacos.
I quit watching because I trusted that they would do the right thing and remake the tacos without cheese. The young man then returns and hands me the bag, and again, me trusting that obviously these shouldn't have cheese, thanked him and drove home. When I got home, I was proud to tell my nurse mom, who had a long 12 hour shift today, that I made sure there was no cheese and the whole story. She opens the taco, and we were shocked to see that there was still cheese mixed in the taco. They manhandled the tacos and tried picking the cheese off (the young girls didn't have gloves on and I saw her touch it) and then had the gall to give them back to us.
Again, I was polite and no cheese isn't common,so I know it was an honest mistake the first time around. I have worked in fast food and retail, I know how it feels to have anything less than kindness and respect. I am extremely disappointed in the treatment and service I received. It is unhygienic, dishonest, and disrespectful. Not to mention it could be someone's food allergy!

Read moreStore is filthy and disgusting. I went to wash my hands after ordering/before eating as I do everywhere every time. The bathroom is putrid and I couldn't get any soap out of the dispenser. The sink and mirror are absolutely filty. My husband also came out of mens room and said the soap was empty so he went to inform staff. They filled mens soap and told me the women's is full its just broken, I asked what good was a full dispenser if it's broken she said that's an issue for the manager. Didn't offer to get a manager just shrugged and walked away from my table. The tables are dirty we cleaned our own. They weren't busy we were the only people besides one other family. The soda machine was out of half the options and the available options are warm because also no ice. Makeshift rips of paper as notes. Employee informed us there was no other soda when we told her the soda is warm and flat. There is a severe leak above the drink machine from the ceiling. This was my first time eating at del taco in about 20 years but I will absolutely not ever go again. If the store is in such a condition how do you think my food tasted? I got a refund for a fish taco that was cold in the middle.

Read moreI frequently come to this location as I love(d) Del Taco but after this experience, I will definitely not come back to this location and most likely won't for other locations.
I ordered 6 del tacos and 6 snack tacos for taco night, and found out I only got 6 snack tacos once I got home. I didn't feel like driving back since it was very hot outside so I submitted an email to Del Taco. I never got a response back after 72 hours so I went to the store and asked if they could do anything. I showed them the order history and online receipt that del taco emailed me, but the worker told me she can't do anything because that is "the company's receipt". I had no idea what that meant and I just left and called Del Taco's customer service. They said they would escalate my email but nothing happened. I called my bank to make a chargeback because I got scammed.
Also, I realized that this place is incredibly dirty after I walked in as I only used drive-thru. I saw one of the workers (the one who denied my refund) eat french fries or whatever while getting the orders ready.
Absolutely despicable service to returning customers and this place needs to be shut down for health violations.
