My husband and I used to come all the time when this was The Local and was excited to see what this new spot had to offer. The space is a lot cleaner, more open, and conceptually nicer. There are PLENTY of TVs, so it will be a great spot for sporting events. However as someone that couldnât care less about sports, the variety rock playlist was enough to keep me happy!
Upon sitting down, The GM Nick came over to introduce himself to us. My husband and I came for lunch during the soft launch, so thereâs wasnât a defined signature cocktail menu-yet so I ordered a pineapple mule. It was very fresh tasting and wasnât overly sour like some other places. It was a nice balance. The Local did a rotation of local beers on tap, so I would love to see that carried on or considered for this spot.
I got the avocado bites-fried avocado, as a millennial of course I was very excited to try this lol. It was delicious! You get decent chunks of avocado. Iâll get this probably every time I come in lol. My husband got sweet heat wings. There is so much flavor and even the small touch of presentation is impactful.
Main course I got the chicken mac and cheese. The chicken tenders are truly freshly made and had a great crunch to them. The mac and cheese was homemade and super fresh too. It was really good. My husband got the all american smash burger. The freshness and flavor was there. The secret sauce was good and didnât just taste like a 1,000 island sauce. The fries are good too. Again, it wasnât just slopped together and the presentation was great.
Lastly, we had to try to funnel cake fries. Again, freshly made, super delicious. The caramel sauce-so good. Weâll be back and look forward to see what the full menu has to offer. Truly donât have anything bad to say other than not having enough room in our stomachs to keep eating haha.
The freshness is greatly appreciated with everything weâve tried. You can tell everything is handcrafted and made with thought and care. Itâs nice to have a variety in Downtown Chandler and I truly hope this...
Read moreWhat a great find today with an awesome vibe! Plenty of TVs. They have trivia nights on Wednesdays and charge no cover for UFC . We stopped in looking for a few drinks and some dinner. Looks like we arrived at the perfect time (around 4 Friday) because soon after the place was packed. There is a full bar and outside seating with a mix of high tops, bar seating as well as low tops. Our waitress was training someone else and they were both friendly. Our drink orders were taken and we were given some time to look over the menu. We decided to try the fried pickles, but were leery as they usually arenât good anywhere we go. We were pleasantly surprised when watery arrived crispy, batter flavorful and so good! My daughter ordered the avocado BLT, I had the Diablo smash burger and my husband the bacon smash burger. All with fries. Everything came out pretty quick. Burgers were quite large as well as the BLT. Fries were crispy and delicious. I made the mistake of ordering two patties thinking since they were smash burgers I could do it. Well, I could notâŚ.i was so full half way through. Ha ha the Diablo burger was spicy and so good. Everyone really enjoyed their food. Service lacked a bit towards the end and took a bit to get the waitresses attention for more drinks, but again they were getting busy and I feel she was trying her best. Prices were fair and happy hour was great! Only bummer was my daughter forgot her take out box with glad her sandwich at the end. Weâll just have to come back another time. There is some street parking, but youâre better off parking in the nearby garage and save...
Read moreA++ Great Place!!! I've been to DTC Chandler location several times since first trying in March this year on a random walk looking for a chill place to catch March madness games, and have been to their Tempe location once. I can't say enough great things about the relaxed, yet fun positive atmosphere in this place!đ Whether it's a quick bite of lunch, happy hour after work, dinner & drinks inside or on the patio, or taking in ballgame w friends, this is a place to check out you're not going to wanna miss!!
The staff is super upbeat, welcoming, and friendly from my first trip and they haven't missed a beat since- Amber is especially one of the greats this place is lucky to have behind the bar many early afternoons!â Amber brightened an otherwise boring afternoon for my brother and I with her great smile, excellent attentiveness, and fun vibe. I'm not a dessert guy, but she sold us on trying an amazing hidden gem you've gotta swing by to try if in the area - 'Funnel cake fries w/ caramel dip!'
Beyond the amazing staff and food, this place is loaded with over a dozen TVs to catch any game that's on no matter the season for the sports buffs!! And an A+ playlist rolls all day (props to DJ/channel selector) of the best songs of the last 3-4 decades! It's literally the perfect mix of sports bar meets great restaurant with available casual patio seating as well and an attractive new modern...
