I usually have a decent experience at this location but there was one day that gave me a bad taste in my mouth with this specific store. I ordered my coffee with the cashier, I ordered a Carmel machiatto that is stirred at the end (the drink usually comes out with the milk on top and the coffee/Carmel in the bottom of the cup).. I always order it like this. So it was another employee making the drink.. she pops it out when it's done, and it wasn't stirred. I know I sound like those entitled customers now, complaining about first-world problem nonsense. But it was the girls attitude that really irritated me. I looked at her and told her "oh it was supposed to be stirred". The girl looks at the cup, takes a step back and looks back up at me and rolls her eyes and takes the drink. So I said "I told the cashier that. I'm sorry but I just need it stirred. Can you just pour it in between two cups and then it's good?" She takes the drink, turns around, and throws it in the trash. Then with a short, spiteful attitude replies "oh I'll just throw it away then and remake it." I work at the mall and I had a quick couple minutes to run and get this coffee, so now it's double the time it would have been to just get my drink. I said "wait no, why are you throwing it away? The drink was perfectly fine, if you would have just poured it back and fourth between two cups" She starts slamming stuff around and says "no it wont come out right. It's fine, I'll just remake it."
By the time my drink was out, it seemed like she got over her attitude and because she handed over the new drink and told me to have a good day.
I've had nothing but great experiences here except for this particular encounter. I work in the service industry as well and I knew I wasn't being THAT difficult to deserve the attutide she had. I understand the bad days and other frustrating customers she may had to have dealt with prior to me coming in, but it was just so unnecessary.
I went back and told a couple of my coworkers about my experience and they laughed saying they've also had issues with the baristas' attitudes at this...

I registered him for a Starbucks app more that six months ago. He was so excited and for some reason the app isn’t working. It doesn’t show the reward in his account and his birthday is in the app and has been the entire time. I asked if he showed his Id could they make an exception today and Laitan or Nathan said no. I explained that this was an error in the app and if he could do it this one time for my son whom has special needs he said no. It’s real sad and unfortunate that Laitan or Nathan has such terrible customer service. I frequent this location often and I will no longer spend my money at this location. Very disappointing. Read moreI walked over from my hotel this morning and was greeted by a beautiful young woman with red glasses I didn’t get her name but it was nice to actually be greeted with a smile & manners. Her ability to assess a situation and deal with multiple customers was great and she was in complete control. The atmosphere alone was so chill I needed it after my days of travel.
