On my last visit to your restaurant (02/13/2021) my party encountered some problematic behaviour from one of your servers, Megan. During the course of our visit there were quite a few times where they mentioned calories and carbs, and how adding one side to our entree will be a weeks worth of calories. Tableside commentary like this is tone deaf. It doesn't take into consideration that you do not know what is going on with your guests; you never know if someone has or has had an eating disorder-- such words (carbs, calories, etc.) can send someone spiraling deeper into their disorder and it already might be a struggle for them to even sit in a restaurant, let alone order food. To round out this visit, our server was overly friendly and attentive to our male party member, to the point where the interest was so obvious it made the entire visit uncomfortable. When he left the table, our servers demeanor was practically night and day; they were less attentive, very short and too the point, and did not show the same level of enthusiasm. The cherry ontop of this awkward sundae is when they heard one of us call our male partner a private nickname, and then used it in a flirtatious manner. It simply isn't appropriate to use someone's presumed name without asking for their name first. Had this server made a game of guessing all of our names, it would have been less cringe inducing. However, this was not the case. It appears that Houlihans needs to have a staff meeting about considering their words and behaviours when interacting...
Read moreDate of Visit: 5/29/19 approx. 6PM - Absolutely phenomenal experience! The waitresses were fantastic, friendly, and attentive (we had two, one was training the other). The food was delicious - we ordered one plate of fish&chips and one chicken tender platter for our meals and the portions were huge and piping hot! Definitely a different experience than my visit last October!
Date of Visit: 10/13/2018 approx. 6PM - My family frequents this location and we almost always order the 4 oz. filet mignon around the dinner hour; but we have never had it taste bad like it did on this visit. This time the filet mignon tasted like pure charcoal; I couldn't even taste the meat. When asking about it, the restaurant representative informed me that it tastes that way because "the grill isn't clean" and informed me to come to the restaurant at "odd times" to have the best flavor and to ensure the equipment is clean. I really don't want to come at an "odd time" just so I can enjoy my meal...especially since my family always comes at dinner time and this was definitely a one-off for our history with the restaurant. The restaurant did provide us a free dessert for the inconvenience as well as providing us a $15 coupon to try them again within the next month. We'll see what happens on our...
Read moreMe and my wife were in town to check out Paisley park . We stayed at the hotel across from Houlihan's. We dined in And our experience was top shelf. We had a waitress that was fairly new but she was very accommodating friendly & Attentive . I have a jumbalayand my wife had stuffed chicken breast And it was absolutely delicious. Me being the prankster I decided on my way out To prank the Manager on duty. I asked the hostess to go get her that I had a complaint and needed to speak with her . When she came And I don't recall her name but she was very polite and asked how she could help , she understood that I had a complaint. I said I did have a complaint and I said Why didn't you warn us that the food and the service was so d* good . You should give us a warning before we sit down to eat. It took a second to register that it was not an actual complaint . We all had a great laugh And left her with what a wonderful experience That I had In the restaurant . She said for a moment she thought it was an actual complaint . I know I will Come back to check out Paisley park again in the near future but I will definitely make it a point to stop at Houlihans.
