Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Chanhassen

Incredibly bizarre experience at this Jersey Mike's.

I was happy to see a Jersey Mike's near my house, finally, so I didn't have to keep driving to the Hopkins one. I went in and ordered my favorite sandwich, which happens to be a sandwich that isn't exactly on the menu but is ordered using a combination of two existing numbers because it's a custom sandwich. This is a very common sandwich and in fact it was an employee at a different Jersey Mike's that first told me about this particular sandwich. Well, this Jersey Mike's decided to give me a hard time about the way I ORDERED the sandwich and didn't really want to make it for me until I used the "correct" terminology. I'm not even joking. They knew what I wanted, clearly, could have easily just made what I asked but instead they proceeded to give me a hard time about the way I ordered even though as I mentioned I was told about this from an employee at a different Mike's and I've never seen anyone give me a hard time about ordering it the way I did at ANY Mike's ANYWHERE except this one.

As excited as I was to find a Mike's near my house I won't be back to this one. In all my years of getting sandwiches at sub and sandwich shops this was the most bizarre and uncomfortable experience I've ever had. I won't be back. The manager was even standing 2 feet away while the employee was giving me a hard time about this. I guess the manager of this store ACTIVELY PROMOTES treating customers...

I ordered a #26 with no tomatoes or lettuce. Noticed my ticket didn't have anything about no lettuce or tomatoes on it when I got to the register, and asked the cashier to make sure it got on there. He did, and another gentleman also repeated it to the grill. Great!

Not really. Still came with both items. I went back and showed them, and they offered to remake it. Great!

Not so much. All that happened was 90% of what I didn't want was scraped out of the sandwich and it was returned to me cold. I just ate it at that point, I didn't have time to sit through another iteration of the do over loop.

I've been a customer many times and had great experiences, but this is exceptionally poor, considering this sandwich with a bag of chips and a soda was...

This sub shop is a welcome addition to our town. The subs are throw-back sandwiches that I haven had local access to for years. I recommend the cold sub selection. I haven't tried the hot subs, but have been told that the "cheese wiz" type sauce they use is not good. The cold subs though are great! The bread has that chewy crust with soft innards that don't overwhelm the fixings. The ingredients are cut fresh as needed. The lettuce is shredded and generously applied along with nice tomatoes slices. For ease of ordering, getting the subs "Mike's Way" adds fresh onion with generous sprinkles of oil & vinegar with a healthy shake of spices. I've had the Italian and the club w/bacon.
