Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Channelview

Came to the restaurant around 2 pm with some coupons and the young man helping my sister and I out was rude from the beginning. I tried giving him the coupon and he pointed at the scanner without a word and when it was my sister’s turn to pay for her order, he snatched it out of her hand and scanned it. Also before I had paid, I asked if my sandwiches could be cut if they weren’t. He said “We don’t cut sandwiches here.” We left the store, went to our car for about 4-5 minutes, and came back with a bogo coupon. Our sandwiches were made and guess what they did? They cut the sandwiches despite saying not too long ago that “they don't do that here.” When the time came to redeem the bogo, I scanned it instead of even trying to hand it to the worker and the young man immediately said “You cant do that.” Which doesn’t make any sense because it was a separate order from the ones we had placed prior, so how come the coupon was all of a sudden irredeemable? My mom had called after we left and they informed us the manager wouldn't be back until Friday when we asked for them. When she asked why nobody could help me with the coupon, the woman who the phone was given to bluntly said “It just wouldn’t scan.” I understand as a food service worker myself that things happen with the POS, but the attitude I received just left a horrible impression. Not even a “I’m sorry, but the system didn’t take it.” Which I would’ve understood. Food was great but the service that came with it...

This is by far my favorite Jersey Mike's location the manager always take the most price in making sure that the sandwich ingredient are fresh and the experience my wife and I receive is always above par. Even when there are problems with the order like forgetting bacon on a sandwich accidentally she made it right even gave a coupon for the next visit to ensure a good experience. Even after a kid sabotaged the tea container and had a mess right before closing. she and her staff had great attitudes. Which is difficult to find this day and age. If you want to know that you are eating something fresh this location is where to come to.

I have been a connoisseur of this chain ever since the galleria was one of the only options. The beltway 8 and wallisville location is by far my favorite out of the entire region stretching to Austin of the the ones I have tried myself. Not to say anything bad to the others. It's just that I see this location go out of the way to make their customers happy.

First time here and experience was not it. None of the people who worked there looked like they even wanted to be there. One of the ladies was yelling like she couldn’t hear herself and you need to yell back just to be heard. I had asked for extra meat and I know for a fact they didn’t give me that bc it was literally the same amount as the sandwich next to me and that guy didn’t ask for extra meat. I get the same Sammy every time so I know the difference. The meat itself for being so early in the day didn’t look fresh. I usually look very much forward to this Sammy but today is different. One of the many reasons I dislike going anywhere for lunch. Bunch of people who don’t care about the final product bc they don’t gotta eat it. Waste of $14. Very uninspired. Taste like it...
