The service completely destroyed my experience there.
The front desk girl was very nice and said we can sit down and wait for the rest of the party to come. She also mentioned that, the moment we order, the timer starts (90 minutes max). Appreciate her informing us ahead of time.
A table of 6, $55 per person for the regular menu plus one of each premium meat (rib eye, short rib, galbi, lamb chops, rib and lobster). We thought it was 1 of each premium meat, per person so I ordered 6 rib eyes first. They came. Then I tried to order 3 short ribs, but our server told us that because we already ordered 1 meat per person, that was it. No explanation when I ordered 6 rib eyes, no warning, no nothing. Fine. So, we decided to get the $85 per person where you can get anything you want, as much as you want.
Now, our server never asked if this was our first time there, nor did he ever explain to us how their restaurant policies are or any info regarding the restaurant. He didn't introduce himself to us, he just asked what we wanted and reminded us twice that we only have 90 minutes to eat. Fine, he's slightly busy so I understand.
What I didn't understand was why it took so long for any of our orders to come through. When I looked around at the other tables, they were all receiving consistent and dramatically faster service than we were. I was surprised, but then again, maybe there was something going on behind the scenes that we didn't know, so benefit of the doubt, cool, let's move on.
We ordered 3 diet cokes, 2 cokes and 1 ginger ale. They gave us can sodas. They charge $3 per soda (fine), but no free refills. We had to remind our server multiple times on refills regarding rice, side dishes, the soups, and garlic. It got to the point where I stopped asking for refills simply because his memory was either terribly off today or he had a lot on his mind. I tried to move on. One of our friends has a shellfish allergy and we asked if we can change out the grill, tongs and scissors once the lobster was finished cooking. Our waiter came through. But then the tongs and scissors slipped and landed on the lobster shells so I asked our waiter for another pair. 20 minutes later and still nothing. Fortunately, we were cooking thick pork belly at the time so we weren't in a huge hurry.
After the 90 minute mark, only one of us was full. Our main server went on break and the substitute waiter was AWESOME. Or, he was simply doing his job properly. Either way, his service was 10 times faster and more consistent than our main server and he took care of us for about 10 minutes. After that, the main server came back and told him not to serve us anymore food because we passed the 90 minute mark.
We stayed a total of just over 2 hours and half of our party was still hungry.
$85 per person, plus tax, 7 sodas and 20% gratuity, this restaurant was NOT worth it. If we had consistent and great service throughout, then I'd definitely come back, but the service was probably one of the worst I've experienced at an all you can eat Korean BBQ restaurant. It took every ounce of my strength and energy NOT to confront my waiter.
The service was SO slow that we couldn't fully enjoy what the restaurant had to offer. It's not even about the time anymore, it's simply the lack of service we received that made almost every aspect of our experience there, abysmal at best.
Either you get the $36 AYCE option or the full on $85. The $55 option is completely deceiving and BS. If you get the $85 option, please, PLEASE make sure your server(s) are giving you the attention you're paying for.

Read moreI have visited this Chantilly location several other times and didn't have much or anything bad to say about the service and food. Until today, a group and I decided to have Korean BBQ after church. We were seated and our waiter Jason started off being attentive and making sure we got our selection of meats to start out with. Throughout all you can eat session there Jason's performance declined.
Our water jugs would be empty and you'd expect your waiter to be able to visually catch that and take care of it, nope it was upon request. Jason left our table without mentioning he was taking a break, we had been informed by another waiter who was holding down two other tables. We caught Jason on the second floor on his break, which hey that is okay to take a break but as our initial server let us know what is happening, not completely ditch us. It was not busy at all for Sunday Afternoon however our server had plenty of time to not interact with our table needs and found time to be at the opposite end of the floor by the bar talking to his manager and taking laps without routine table checks. Our waiter did not take any empty rice bowls and allowed our table to get cramped, one of the meat option we ordered was left to the side as other meats was cooking, the marinade was overfilling the plate and left on the table without any employee to catch and clean it, it was gross! Our grill was turned off when meat was still cooking at the end and the receipt was brought out! My table did not get our grill changed out at all for our session, it made cooking our meat difficult and time consuming. It was filthy after. I observed other tables and they were getting their grills changed out and the clean up crew was taking grills from parties that were done, none of those grills were anywhere to the poor status of our grill at the end.
I understand for a party of 5 or 6 plus there is automatically a 20% tip fee included. ($50) Jason did not do the bare minimum as a server/waiter and if it was up to the table $50 was not a fair tip to match the servers performance.
It comes fairly easy to me to say that my group and I will not be coming back to this location and would 100% rather head to the Fairfax location although it's further from our church. I read other reviews surrounding this location and feel included with their low...
Read moreI came to this location often with friends and never have i ever been so disappointed in the service until this last time i went. our servers name was Jason and he barely even did the bare minimum to serve me and me party (7 of us total) we were inform that because we were a group of 7, the tip will automatically be added at a 20% rate. i think this is fair in general, but i feel like because the tip was already added before the service, Jason did not do well in serving my group. The grills were not changed once and we had 2 grills. They had ash on them and it just kept getting stacked with more charcoal and burnt ash. other table’s grills were changed and they looked cleaner than ours. we asked the server for multiple things and had to repeat ourselves over and over again until he grabbed it eventually. we were not informed by our server that he was going on break, like yes, please take your break, but i thought it was super careless of Jason to not even inform us that he was leaving for a break, and just shut the grills off while we still had RAW meat cooking. he also touched raw chicken with our tongs and proceeded to touch our cooked meat which was cross contamination and frankly disgusting. The food would have been tasty if we got our grills changed at least once so we didn’t have to have a crunchy charred piece of meat every bite. even the Food was disappointing due to the grill.
we used to enjoy coming to this location and it’s really sad because how much this bad experience has changed our love for the Qui here in Chantilly. if we ever come again I hope jason has improved or we have a different server. our visit was disappointing to...
