Dave's Seafood & Subs — Restaurant in Chantilly

The food is always very good, however customer service at least in my case, is consistently offensive. I always get the pork chop platter and ask for extra hot sauce, and though there's usually a lady at the counter, a guy comes from the kitchen when he sees me, and says something to the lady at the counter in a different language, then gives me a dirty look, and goes back to the kitchen. Just today I ordered my favorite meal (pork chop platter) for take out. My wife placed the order by phone and asked for extra hot sauce. When I entered the restaurant I was greeted by a lady (who came from the back) who appeared to be frowning at me. She then said something in a different language to the lady at the counter (who is always very nice by the way). The lady at the counter packed up my order then when it came time for the sauces, I asked for extra hot sauce. She grabbed four hot sauces as I proceeded to pay for the meal. After paying and taking my card out of the reader I looked up and there was the same gentlemen from the kitchen giving me the same dirty look as he always does. He proceeded to say something (again in a different language) to the lady at the counter. The lady at the counter then says to me "the extra hot sauce will be $1" (mind you I had just paid for the meal. By this point I was just ready to get out of there, so I put my card back into the reader once again and paid $1 for what I am not even sure was extra hot sauce being that it was only 4 little containers for three huge pork chops. I feel disrespected and am considering not ordering from Dave's seafood in Chantilly going forward. Disappointing since their food...

A 1 Star is just to much for this place. Very unfriendly... the customer service was HORRIBLE! I placed an order for scallops and crab sticks and asked if both items can be placed in the same container. When I got there I kindly greeted the lady behind the counter and told her I'm here to pick up my order. She gave me 2 separate bags. I checked the order before paying and saw that first, it was not in the same container as requested. Second, the scallops were burnt. I showed her the scallops and told her I did not want them because they were burnt but I will pay for the crab sticks. She immediately rolled her eyes at me and said they were not burnt. I said to her I do not want them because they looked and smelled burnt. I'll just take the crab sticks. She then angrily grabbed the scallops and had her hand out and said 'just give me the money for the crab sticks!" I told her she was being very rude and causing a scene. At that point she laughed at me and yelled "Bye Bye". If there was a zero star review option I would have given it. She was just blatantly rude! I will never go...

This place has excellent food. A great place to go for lunch and grab a bite to eat. The restaurant itself is nice and clean. The staff is very polite and they strike up conversation when I come in. Not sure if it's because i'm a regular or not. Their prices are reasonable for the area. There are a few tables in there to sit on and eat. A gorgeous view of the car dealership & firehouse (sarcasm). Seriously though the inside is decent for the location. There are parking spots outside that are shared with other businesses in that little shopping area. I definitely would recommend this place for someone to grab a bit to eat. The food is decent. I've tried everything on the menu, but my usual is the Philly Steak with everything. I also have a side of either fries or onion rings. I think the onion rings are quite tasty but it is greasy, it soaks the bag just as 5 guys does. All in all I think that if anyone was to go here and order anything off of the menu they would be satisfied with what...
