This used to be the go-to spot for quality breakfast bagel sandwiches but it seems to have fallen in recent years. I've been a long-time customer, even back when they still had the Bruegger's Choice sandwich but my girl and I will probably never return - at least at this particular location. When we went around 8AM on a Saturday, there wasn't a big line but it took longer than expected to complete our order because there were only 3 employees (2 in front, 1 in the back). But that's not even the first disappointing thing. When we asked to order 2 Westerns with extra egg each and the cheesy hashbrowns, the sandwichmaker said that they're sold out of the hashbrowns. That's basic breakfast staple and it's out...or maybe they just don't want to make it because of understaffing issue. While the line wasn't so long when we were on the line it got longer while we were eating inside. So long to the point the line reached outside of the building. The lady at the cashier told the customers, "There's only 3 of us here, so bare with us." twice, which is just unprofessional customer service and bad management. The hazelnut coffee was good - we ordered a couple of Medium-sized, but the coffee ran out and we didn't bother to ask because the employees were so busy, struggling to serve the long line of customers. While the Western sandwiches are still good for the most part, especially with fresh garlic and everything bagel, it seems to be lacking of sauce or cream cheese. In a previous experience, they forgot to add extra eggs to our breakfast sandwiches. While the sandwichmaker remade them with the extra eggs, she asked to donate our first sandwiches. The glory days of Bruegger's might be over but I still hope they can get back to the special breakfast spot we remember. The ambiance looks small, simple, and clean with some seats outside - just right for this kind of bagel spot. They will need to improve customer service, food and drink availability, and just slightly upgrade overall food quality.

This is a bagel chain with a good menu selection however the bagels are on the small side and the prices are slightly expensive for a single bagel with nothing on it. I got an asiago bagel with nothing on it at $2.39! Outrageous price for something so small. That wouldn't even sell for that price in NYC. Outside is crusty and chewy but inside is soft. Gets stuck in the molars and between teeth easily. Reminds me of the Manhattan bagel chain bagels (not a good thing.) I got the Farmhouse sandwich with a single egg ($6.79) which had good flavor but you may still be hungry afterwards as the portion is on the small size. I'm a petite person - maybe my appetite is big but judge for yourself with the picture or my small hand next to the sandwich. (Excuse the dry hand as I was on my way to the airport using a hand sanitizer after the gas station and didn't have my lotion on me.) There were a lot of staff but slightly unorganized. The female cashier needs to be more communicative with both customers and staff to speed things along. I can see why some reviewers would say service is slow. Thank goodness I came at a time when there wasn't a lot of people. The bagel variety are behind the counter behind the staff so if you're new to the establishment, you can't really see what kind of bagels they have to choose from. Plenty of indoor seating and plenty of parking.

A business is only as reputable as it's employees, today's gentleman was so far from professional or courteous that I'm not at all surprised to open the wrong sandwich. I asked for a plain bagel with my farmhouse meal, this is far from a plain bagel. I was not offered a receipt or even asked my name by said cashier, my 10 min wait ended with a bag folded over & pushed my way. No 'thank you' or even 'have a good day'! I usually frequent Bruegger's no matter which state I'm visiting, this however my put a stop to that. #Bruegger'sDoBetta

I had previously given a five star rating. I can no longer endorse that after visiting this store today from 7:10-7:30 am. I won’t be returning to this store. Today, after getting the wrong order and bringing it back in to ask for the right order, three of the four staff members were incredibly rude after THEY asked me what was Wrong when I simply asked to have the incorrect order replaced. There were other issues - e.g. one person waiting ahead of me, only other person in line - all three staff walked off the floor before taking my order. Once order was taken, somehow 4 people behind me had their orders go into the toaster before the person who took my order came to ask if I wanted my two bagels toasted - which I had stated for both when ordering but at that point said no because it had already taken much longer than expected based on previous experience. I have lived within walking distance of this store for 19 years. Always had a really good experience. Not sure what is going on. I waited almost 20 minutes when there was only one person in front of me (who also ordered a bagel with cream cheese) to get two bagels with cream cheese and paid almost $9 to be treated rudely by three of the four staff. No thank you. I’ll go to one of the other two bagel shops close by - bagels are much better anyway. I only continued to go to this store out of loyalty and because of previous incredible customer service. I know why the other shops are so busy now. Even so, Issac’s and Brandwein’s have never been rude even if they got an order wrong - which happens to everyone. As an aside, the employee working the register at Brueggers who has been there for years was lovely as always. I thought she might be the manager she has been there so long but I...

Today was my first time visiting Breugger’s as I dropped my younger sister off for college. As I was giving my order the associate (Rhonda?) loudly and rudely said “am I missing something?” I said no it’s not a big deal I was just checking if my sister wanted a sesame bagel and smiled. She rolled her eyes, sighed, threw off her gloves and loudly said I am not taking these people’s order. Maybe she felt uncomfortable because we were the only people that looked different from the other customers and she did not want to help us, I was so confused!! The new associate came to assist us and he said sorry to us and took our order politely. I apologized to him as well and he said don’t worry and smiled. As we were waiting to pay the same lady went to our parents to clean some tables (nice of her) but then rudely accused them of moving tables around and they said they would never without her permission and she walked away. The cashier was checking us out and also said sorry to us. The lady walked by and I apologized to her to be polite because I felt I had inadvertently upset her even though I HAD DONE NOTHING. She rolled her eyes and started talking about me in front of the other customers, it was so humiliating!! I teach elementary special Ed and I take pride in my patience level, but she was really testing me. I really do not know what I did to make her so upset that she had to humiliate me and talk trash about me in front of everyone. The bagels looked wonderful, but I really felt so upset I could not even eat my order. I hope that she reflects on her behavior! I do not mean to disrespect the other associates or the restaurant by telling my experience as the place was clean and everyone...
