Our company is located very close to this Domino's so we order pizza often for lunch time meetings. I typically place large orders online, but since their website was down I called in my order. I waited until 10:30 (their opening time) to call, but the guy that answered the phone would not take my order. He told me that they were closed and they were still setting up the store. I then mentioned (just in case he was not aware) that their website was not working. He snapped at me and said "the reason it is not working is because we are not open right now!". I was kind of taken aback, so I hung up. I waited a few minutes and called back. By this time it was 10:38 and I really needed the pizzas delivered to my office by 11:15 so I was getting a little anxious. This time when he answered the phone, I asked if they were open yet and could i place an order. He hesitated and then reluctantly went ahead and took my order. I am very disappointed with them. They are in a position to get lots of business from my company, but based on this guy's attitude I don't think I will ever order from there again! At 3:47pm on Halloween night, I ordered pizza for 3 children. I called a few minutes afterwards to adjust the order. The manager refused to adjust the order and when I pushed back, he retaliated by canceling my order without letting me know and without refunding me or sending me a cancelation email. We waited 2 hours for pizza that never came (on Halloween night!) and when I called to ask what happened, the phone was answered and then hung up on me. When I called again, the person who answered the phone went to go find out about my order (again) and then left me on hold for 20 more minutes, after which the phone was again hung up on me. I then used my daughter's phone to call and got through to a different person, who then told me the order had been canceled. I think this is a really nasty thing to do to a customer and her kids, especially on Halloween night! I am therefore sending this note out to caution you to not disagree with the manager of the store, or he may do the same to you. And if you do, at least check on your pizza order. I then called the restaurant and attempted to place an order and followed a voice prompt system, which could not get my order correct. So, I hit the button to speak to a live person. I spoke to the person, gave all of my order and card information. Well, 1.5 hours later, I call asking if my order was in route. The person I spoke to said my order had been cancelled. This person was a female. I asked what happened. She then said I knew as much as she did. I asked to speak to the manager. She said that she is the manager. I said, “Manager, do you mean to tell me that you don’t know how your business functions?”. She hung the phone up in my face. I didn’t yell at her or get loud but I asked her a valid question. We are literally here waiting for dinner that isn’t coming. This is the second time that this restaurant has messed up my order and only the second time I’ve ever been placed an order.
