Let me start by saying the food is amazing. I have been here numerous times and love the food. If you're looking to dine in...don't. Do take out instead. The service is absolutely horrendous (from certain servers). I have been a server since I was 18 so I understand it's not easy but tonight was terrible.
I ordered wings and fries, nothing unusual. It took 50 minutes for my food to come. Meanwhile other people were coming in after we ordered, getting their food, FINISHING THEIR FOOD, and checking out before we even got ours. Our server then come out with the food after the 50 minute wait and said "kitchen messed up the order" which is classic server talk for "I screwed up and forgot and now I'm blaming the kitchen". Keep in mind there was one other table in the whole place occupied and they had a different server than we did.
He never checked on us after dropping the food, did not fill drinks once, and then never even dropped a check. I had to walk up front to ask for boxes and the check because he literally never came back.
I have never in my life, until today, stiffed a server. I truly understand sometimes you forget but what happened tonight was beyond bad and it kinda ruined the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWell, letās get down to it. I walk in and greeted by a very nice lady on a Tuesday, which happens to be their buy 1, get 1 50% off. Only to find out their traditional wings donāt qualify for that discountā¦..only their other options. She states it was owner/management that made that decision. Fair enough. Then in order a beer and ask for a cold glass. Nice girl says she always offered cold glasses but her manager says a cold glass waters down the beer. I think this girl should be promoted to manager and her manager needs to find a new career. Take a hard look at Twin Peaks restaurant that makes an absolute killing by offering ice cold glasses and ice cold beer. How about letting the customer have a cold glass with his beer? And how about we are able to buy all the chicken wings on the Tuesday special and you just adjust the cost accordingly to make a profit. No wonder this place was dead on their Tuesday special day. Girl was great and has to live by dumb decisions by her management. She did recommend the chicken thingsā¦.:and hold cow were they good. Again, she was awesome and needs...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBest wings in the triangle, no contest š¤š¤ I used to live in Ohio, and every year in my birthday my family would go to not a steakhouse, not a fancy Italian restaurant, but my favorite wing restaurants (winking Lizard, still amazing). Ever since I moved, I have been missing this time honored tradition, but lo and behold with heavenly buffaloes I've found it again. I have now been a few times, but I'll detail my favorite experience. My gf and I went to Durham for some brews on my birthday. We popped into flying bull, and ordered takeout from heavenly buffaloes. We snagged em and brought it all right back to the brewery to chow down, and it was blissful. I definitely recommend taking these wings down with a nice cold beer if you're getting some of the elevated heat. A few of them pack a punch. Get yourself some seasoned fries and you're riding steady. Can't go wrong with the flavors here, and I can't say enough good things about the place. Although I still move around a lot, I'll be making an effort to be back in NC for the wings when my birthday rolls...
