Bad Bunnies caught our attention from the moment we drove down Spring Street. Our family of four visited Charleston over family vacation, and Bad Bunnies was a short walk from where we stayed. My husband and I really enjoy good coffee. It's become a hobby, and over the years we have visited a plethora of coffee shops. When we travel, we love trying new places ... always looking for the locals. So when Monday morning rolled around Bad Bunnies was our first stop. WOW, did we get more than just a nice cup of coffee ... we got an experience! From the moment we walked through the front door my husband and I was in AWE of the character of this place. It's charming. It's feminine. It's masculine. It's eclectic. It's classy. It's exquisite. It's nostalgic. It's talent. It's art. It's all the things! There's so much to look at, and interestingly enough it all works together to create a unique cozy vibe that you are not in a hurry to leave. It is truly one of a kind! And as if the amazing architecture wasn't enough, one of the owners (Rick) pulled up a chair and talked to my husband and I for probably 30 minutes. He was so personable it was as though the three of us had planned to meet for coffee that morning. Friendly staff, that greeted their customers. Walls lined with beautiful artwork, designed by Rick and his wife Carol. The floor, can we talk about the floor! The ceiling. The stunning custom built counter was like none we have ever seen anywhere in a coffee shop. The tables with gorgeous Tiffany blue legs. If you pay attention to detail like we do, this place is exploding with it! Treasures everywhere! The design of Bad Bunnies is unmatched! So if you're looking for a great cup of coffee, warm staff, a design like none other, and an overall amazing experience ... visit Bad Bunnies. And while you're there, check out the fun restroom. If walls could talk! Last but not least, the sweet alley with a pop of yellow if you want to sit outside. We already have plans to go back, because like anything, I'm sure there are things we missed. We don't want to give it all away, so go see...

Bad Bunnies is a fantastic coffee shop that stands out in Charleston's vibrant culinary scene. It left such a positive impression that it was the only place we visited twice during our trip - a testament to its quality and charm.
From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by exceptional service. Braden and the entire crew were incredibly friendly and engaging. They took the time to chat with us about our visit and offered great suggestions for local attractions, making us feel like welcomed guests rather than just customers.
The food at Bad Bunnies is a delightful surprise. We tried their bakery-made pop tart, which was absolutely delicious and unlike any store-bought version. The bacon croissant was another highlight, perfectly flaky and savory. Of course, being a coffee shop, the coffee itself was a standout. It was top-notch, satisfying even for discerning coffee lovers.
Adding to the overall experience is the appealing atmosphere. The interior decor strikes a perfect balance between pleasant and fun, creating a welcoming environment that makes you want to linger over your coffee and treats.
If you're in Charleston and looking for a coffee shop that offers more than just great coffee, Bad Bunnies is a must-visit. The combination of friendly service, tasty treats, and a cozy atmosphere makes it a standout destination in the city.
Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to hop on over to Bad Bunnies - you won't be...

We stopped in every morning for four straight days, and each visit was a standâout experience. From day one, the staff greeted us like old friends. They couldnât have been more kind, gracious, and patientâespecially with the kids. That level of warmth and hospitality is rare, and it made all the difference for our group. Iâm a self-proclaimed coffee snob (thanks, NYC), and I was blown away by how consistently excellent every cup was. The espresso drinks were smooth and flavorful, and the drip coffee was strong in all the right ways. The iced coconut lime espresso tonic was a total standoutârefreshing, creative. Iâm still craving one.
Itâs clear this place knows what itâs doing. Their seasonal drinks are inventive, their pastries are fresh and locally sourced, and the whole vibe is exactly what you want in a coffee shopâcalm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. Even when the line was long, service was fast and friendly. The team clearly takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction. whether you're a solo coffee lover or a big group like ours, Bad Bunnies is an absolute gem.
