DO NOT BOOK WITH OR TRUST THE INNS. I had a horrible, disgusting experience with one of their properties in June booked through Airbnb, sheets left on the beds from previous guests and termite feces falling from the ceiling. We had to leave in the middle of the night to book a hotel. They responded to the negative review saying it was posted in error, then lied to Airbnb to have my review removed by baiting me OFFERING to compensate me in exchange for taking down the review. I will be reporting to the business bureau and across other review sites as well. Shady business, shady people. I spoke with a woman named Maggie who seemed to orchestrate the exchange. Again, DO NOT TRUST.

Our family had an amazing stay at the Inns! The setup was perfect for us and our family! Our boys had their own section, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchenettes were well-equipped with everything we needed, and the location couldn’t have been better. We were surrounded by fantastic places to eat, shop, and explore. What really stood out was how accommodating they were with our last-minute request to check out an hour later, with a one week old and life the grace given made the hosts real gems. We’ve already decided this will be the only place we stay whenever we visit Charleston!

We had a wonderful visit to Charleston. The Inn was cozy and comfortable, the hosts were awesome, very responsive and friendly. The Holey Bagel is almost across the street, less than a 5 min walk, their bagels were great! The location is somewhat walkable…if you are looking for a restaurant, you will find one within easy walking distance. It is an easy walk to King St, but you will likely want a car or bike to go further into downtown. (You can also catch the bus or Trolley.) We had a great time and are looking forward to visiting again.

The customer service is very unreasonable and hypocritical. They aren’t responsible for the room not having what we paid for but we are responsible for damage we didn’t cause. Explanation below…

I waited to write this review to see if I would calm down about the situation but I never did. I’m not here to make all sorts of complaints about the room because overall the room was nice and the parking area was large for Charleston. The only issue we had with the room was when we arrived late Thursday night the air mattress provided by The Inns had a hole in it and two of the 6 adults staying in the house for the weekend had to sleep on the floor on a makeshift bed of blankets and pillows. Not a big deal, we understand that stuff like that happens and the next morning called and asked for another air mattress. Anyway my family and I stayed at the 154 Spring street B about a month ago for a wedding. After we left we were notified via email that the cleaning staff had “discovered” a broken glass table top in one of the bedrooms and our credit card had already been charged. The glass top that was broken was a rectangle piece of glass that had been placed on the nightstands in the room my in laws stayed in. It was not original to the nightstand but just sat on top and my in laws complained the first night that it slid around very easily. Because of this they didn’t put anything on it except jewelry. We informed them that nothing was broken when we left and could it be possible that it was accidentally broken by the cleaning staff. Their response was absolutely not, they say you broke it so you’re responsible. We asked since the original air mattress provided was insufficient and two adults didn’t get what they were promised could we get a discount on replacing the table top. Their response was it’s not our fault the air mattress had a hole in it, we didn’t know. Well we didnt break the table yet it’s our fault and responsibility to pay for it. So if anyone stays at the Inns I highly recommend taking pictures and videos with time stamps and a daily newspaper in all of the pictures. Because I promise you are responsible for ANY and ALL problems, whether it’s your...

From the moment we arrived at this charming Airbnb in Charleston, we knew we were in for a treat. This beautifully restored property offered the perfect blend of southern charm and modern amenities!

Location The location is unbeatable! Just a short walk from the bustling Market Street, we had easy access to local shops, restaurants, and historic sites. We spent our days exploring the cobblestone streets and our evenings enjoying the vibrant nightlife, all without the hassle of needing a car.

Accommodation The space itself was immaculate. The decor was a perfect mix of classic Charleston elegance and contemporary comfort. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious and stocked with plush towels and premium toiletries.

Amenities We were thoroughly impressed by the amenities provided. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy for us to whip up breakfast before heading out for the day. We also loved having access to a cozy outdoor patio, perfect for sipping morning coffee or unwinding with a glass of wine in the evening.

Host Our host was outstanding! They greeted us warmly upon arrival and shared fantastic local recommendations, ensuring we didn’t miss out on any hidden gems. Communication was seamless, and they were always available for any questions we had during our stay.

Overall Experience: Our stay at this Airbnb was nothing short of magical. The combination of exquisite accommodations, a prime location, and exceptional hospitality made for a truly unforgettable experience. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler to Charleston, this place is a must-stay. We can’t wait to return!

Thank you for an incredible getaway! Highly...

Pros: nicely decorated, easy check-in and check-out, walking distance to King Street.

Negatives: Curtains & shades in bedroom are so light that they let the morning light in which meant being woken up every morning by 6:30 am. Had to get towels to drape over the widows to try & block out light. No central air, only window unit in bedroom. Was uncomfortable hot even with the portable fan blowing on me. Part of the reason I couldn't sleep while there. The most uncomfortable pillow and bed. Did not get a good nights rest a single night. Tossed and turned the whole time. Very disappointing. Construction going on everyday which started at 7:30 in the morning. TV in bedroom didn't really work. It worked every once in awhile. Used Tide laundry detergent which I'm highly allergic to. Majority of hotels don't use Tide due to people being allergic. Wasn't planning on having to launder all the sheets and towels on vacation. Not fun. Vehicle was keyed while parked in the parking lot. The Inns is right on the verge of being in the "bad part of town". Did not feel safe walking by oneself.

Would not stay at again and would not recommend to anyone else to stay at. Interesting that their website won't let you submit reviews, they choose testimonials to put up which is what we went off of when booking. Big Mistake. Don't waste your money...
