If drinks count as the food, I’ll give it 5 stars. We popped in here late last weekend while we were visiting Charleston, and it’s probably Charleston’s best kept secret.

Saturday night, the place was a vibe. They had a DJ, the disco ball spinning and the bartenders firing off drink orders. All the cocktails we had were great and the draft beers were only $5 (Coming from NJ, you can’t beat that) also served in chilled mugs.

They do have a speakeasy which can be reserved on resy but do note, they only sit tables of 6 so if you show up with a large number, it’s tough to get seated back there all together.

We loved it so much that we went back on Sunday night. It was a much chiller vibe but the bartenders remembered us, and were happy to talk to us for a little. Unfortunately didn’t get their names but the blonde haired girl and a dude with a mustache, those two need raises or promotions. Wanted us to come back on Monday but were had to fly home.

Again, all the drinks were great but if I had to recommend one, it was the “In Bloom”, which I ordered on accident but I fell in...

They nailed it. This place is everything I want in a bar, honestly. I saw comments about loud music in a “quiet cocktail bar”, which I find odd, as I don’t think they advertise themselves as such? I mean there’s a claw machine for one… I personally love that they’ve seemed to step outside a cliché “quiet cocktail bar”. It’s not stuffy or pretentious. It’s exactly what I want for a chill weekend vibe, while I’ve also been on a Tuesday and it hit all the right notes there too. The staff was super friendly and engaging. Put simply, it has a fun, carefree vibe and also happens to have insane cocktails. The Ginger #3 might be my favorite cocktail I’ve ever had.

There’s also a back bar that’s completely separate from the front. I haven’t been in there yet, but I’m intrigued. I was told it’s cozy and more intimate and has a separate menu. It’s on...

My Wife and I stopped here as a nightcap. We didn’t get to spend time in the back room/speakeasy portion, but was pleasantly surprised with the bartenders and drinks at the front bar. Shepard, or Shep, was an awesome bartender. I put him on the spot and told him dealers choice with a bourbon base and he did not disappoint. He made one of the most unique and tasteful Old Fashioned I have ever had. The taste was very complex and lasting! Couldn’t have asked for a better nightcap.

As for my wife, he made what she said was the best and most refreshing mocktail she has ever had. It was a type of cucumber mocktail that couldn’t be beat.

Highly...

One of the best cocktails drinks in Charleston off the strip near King Street. Loved the buzzing and electric vibe. There is another speakeasy inside the bar - Annexe. Drinks are hard and soft the way you like it. We had the following : Ginger #3 Mezcal throttled up with a refreshing kick. Mezcal, Raw Ginger, Fresh Lime, Pineapple, Cayenne The Admiral Take charge and set sail with this complex bittersweet sipper, Reposado Tequila, Mezcal, Pedro Ximenez Sherry, Braulio, Zibernz A Bespoke Mezcal, Sherry and Dash of Orange 🍊
