I came in today (9/5) around 11:15-11:20a. The host/waitress that moseyed on over to me may as well just called out because mentally she wasn’t there I can tell. Mind you she’s the waitress and she takes my order and gets missing. But not before I ordered a margarita she told me that she’s waiting on her bartender to get here. Ok, whatever. She goes missing—then comes out the kitchen(which is his normal position) a guy named Chris. He was a SWEETHEART and you could tell he was doing his best with what he got thrown into. He handled 3 customers well, including me. He was attentive and informative about when our food was coming and so forth. He informed me that the manager was in a “meeting” but she was going to come make the drink. SHE NEVER CAME OUT TO MAKE IT. Not sure what type of meeting it was and it sure didn’t look like place was being robbed so I’m not sure why she couldn’t come out to help her struggling staff real quick for a moment. I asked the drink to be removed, I was over it.
Food was good, it was chillis standard food taste wise. Im about 3/4 through my meal, the waitress reappeared to make sure the drink was removed and I guess continue back “working”. I asked for Chris to come out and I really wanted to tip him, he denied it. I didn’t leave a tip on the card because I didn’t want ANYTHING to go to anybody other than him, they didn’t earn it.
My issue wasn’t really with the waitress it was the manager because magically she appeared as I’m finishing my meal and offered to make the drink and so forth, no thanks lady I no longer even want it now also she wasn’t going to make it because all of a sudden the bartender is there now, smh. I didn’t get her name and I’m sure she’s the general manager so excuse me for how I will describe her, she’s a very petite white lady probably in her early 40s. Probably needs to be evaluated on how she runs the location.
All in all, it was one of the worst chillis experiences I’ve had and I love chillis. Me and my partner go there a lot. Unfortunately I won’t return to this one because that was mildly unacceptable. But shoutout to Chris he’s the real worker and he needs a raise and probably a promotion. The 2 stars are only because he stepped up and held it down with little knowledge on...
Read moreMy 4 year old daughter and i just ate here last night 8/4/2025. I ordered their $25 ribeye. I asked for it to be cooked RARE. When I got it there wasn't even any pink inside (AKA WELL DONE 🤦🏻♂️).
Part of the problem was because the steak was pancake thin. Not sure it would have even been possible to cook it rare it was so thin, but there could at least been some pink inside.
I didn't even trip about it tho; I just asked for it to be re-cooked. About 20 to 25 minutes later the waitress comes over and tells me that, unfortunately, the only other ribeye they have is frozen. So, I'm sitting there thinking my steak is almost ready only to hear that they haven't even started it bc they don't have one.
So, you're telling me you're a Chili's in the middle of the 14th largest city in the United States, and you only have one rib ribeye??? That's crazy to me. If things are that tight just shut the store down.
At any rate, they asked me if I wanted to replace the steak with a burger.. 🤯 Um, no. So I just say take it off the bill.
So instead of taking the whole meal off the bill, like a good customer service manager would do, they just took the steak off the bill and charged me for the mashed potatoes and broccoli!!!
Are you freaking kidding me???
You're literally gonna charge me for mashed potatoes and broccoli that I had to eat without the main entrée while steadily communicating with the waitress and manager, only to be left unsatisfied after sitting there forever thinking my steak is being recooked, only to find out you don't even have what i ordered.
That's a joke in the worst way.
In the end, they did comp most of the meal, but i still ended up paying $50 for a meal that left me completely unsatisfied - with the meal and the service.
I normally tip really well but I just couldn't bring myself to do so after such an ordeal. Sorry to the waitress for that, but that's on your manager.
Somebody needs to teach her a thing or two about customer service and how it relates to customer retention, because I won't be going back there again. Those extra couple dollars you were trying to get out of me is gonna cost Chili's a lot more than that in...
Read moreA big disappointment for carrying the Chili's name. From the beginning, the hostess was great but that's about it.
Seating & Drinks: We got seated fairly quickly and our waitress showed up. She didn't know the menu so when we were ordering drinks, she didn't even know what one of my kids drink (on the kids menu) was and we had to point it out to her. Our drinks were brought out by a food runner in the back with 3 large dreads. No problem with appearance whatsoever but he was higher than the international space station, reeked of marijuana and had no customer service. My daughters drink was nearly forgotten and the waitress had to go get it.
Ordering: We begin ordering our food and again, the waitress doesn't know the menu and was trying to tell my daughter she had 4 sides with the 6oz sirloin w/ shrimp add-on. No, it comes with 2 sides and again, we had to show her the menu. She nearly forgot to take my husband's meal order.
Food Quality: The meals came and wow was everything wrong. My daughters steak (ordered medium rare), was medium well nearly well done. We brought it up to the waitress and explained it was overcooked. She took it back to the kitchen and a couple minutes later brought out the same steak. We had to explain temperatures and I had to break it down and tell her they cooked it to long. She was so confused but took it back again. Minutes later the manager comes by asking what the problem was since apparently the waitress still didn't understand. Thankfully the manager went back to the kitchen to try and get everything fixed. Steak was still a solid medium but whatever, it isn't a steakhouse so we figured we got the best we would get. My meal came with grilled chicken, she upcharged as she added fried chicken which I didn't even bother complaining about.
Overall: A horrible experience. Both my daughters said it was the worst Chili's we've ever been to. The food was mediocre at best, server was not the greatest. The best part was honestly the hostess and the manager comping my...
