Came in lunch time, no line. This was by far the worst chicken burrito bowl and chips I have ever received from this location. I generally boast and brag about this particular location and I have also recommended it in my Google reviews of other chipotle locations, as I’ve never had a bad experience. The chicken in my bowl (can you spot any in the picture? Right, neither can I!) was completely overcooked, and it wasn’t even chunked chicken, it was little tiny, shredded pieces as if it was being stretched out to be portioned and it was bland, had no taste whatsoever and no seasoning. I basically got little to no chicken. The black beans were overcooked. The brown rice was overcooked. The veggies were also overcooked, completely soft and it also had no taste, no seasoning and was completely bland. The chips were extremely salty and inedible, and completely greasy, the oil went straight through the brown bag as pictured. The chips did not help the tasteless bowl ingredients either actually made it even worse tasting. And to add, I ordered large chips, but basically received the size of regular chips bag. Also wanted to note that I was asked if I wanted queso, I said yes on the side, the line worker pulls out an already packaged one and I didn’t care for that, I was looking at the fresh queso out and thought she was going to put that in a cup..I said something about it being fresh and she said she had just sat out the one she packaged and gave me. If I’m inquiring, just scoop me up some fresh queso that I can see you prepare in my face versus something I did not and don’t know how long it was sitting out for someone else. Anywho, should have said no on the queso because it wasn’t good anyway, waste of money. Overall, the chicken bowl was completely tasteless. There was no seasoning. There was no taste whatsoever, completely bland. I wasn’t even full after eating and ended up throwing away what was left bc it was that bad. I’ve never had a chipotle bowl like that ever, there was no flavors to it which was extremely disappointing and I’ve never experienced that particularly from this location which I have frequented and always recommend. I don’t live in the area but I’m a UNCC student and was in the area and decided to stop in. I completely regret it and want a full refund, that meal was not worth it and was a waste of my hard earned money. I recently had a shocking experience at my local Chipotle that left a bad taste in my mouth - literally and figuratively. After realizing my order was incomplete within minutes of receiving it, I drove back to the store only to be met with disbelief and disrespect from the staff. What's even more disturbing is that they didn't even bother to review their security cameras to verify my claim, instead, they chose to accuse me of lying.
Missing Item and Disputed Claim
Upon leaving the checkout area, I inspected my order and noticed the chips were missing. I immediately returned to the store, less than 5 minutes later. I politely informed the cashier about the missing item, and shockingly, they accused me of lying. I requested to speak with the manager, who claimed to be the same person. When I offered to verify the missing item by checking my bag and car, he refused and reiterated the accusation.
Security Cameras Can Confirm
I explicitly suggested reviewing the security cameras to confirm my story, but the manager refused. This would have easily validated my claim, as the footage would show I hadn't left the premises for long and hadn't tampered with my order.
Lack of Accountability and Apology
What's worse, the manager never apologized or acknowledged his mistake. Instead, I was forced to purchase another order of chips to rectify the situation. This blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and blatant dishonesty is appalling..
Warning to Potential Customers
Be cautious of inaccurate orders and unhelpful staff. Double-check your order before leaving, and be prepared for a potentially frustrating experience if issues arise.
I hope Chipotle takes steps to address these issues and regain customer trust. Until then, I'll think twice...

When I got there at 9:30 PM they were out of 5 different items for the rest of the night and they close at 11 PM, the grill was completely clean and they were cleaning in the background. They were busy but decided to close 1 1/2 early. Yeah that sucked but it was whatever if I cared enough I would’ve left but I was hungry but what really blew my mind is the manager Alyssa. Reading all the reviews I didn’t realize how bad it was until I was there. She was being rude to the to go customers and quote on quote said “ your foods not ready yet back up and get out of my line” very rudely. When I went to pay I inserted my card face up (seems like common since to me I don’t know) but there machine is different then most places and then she quote on quote said “turn your card around. you would think it’s common since, it’s like people don’t have it these days” I stood there in shock, mind you this is the manager. After realizing what happened I walked away and left I did not say a word to anyone my whole visit but it irked me afterwords. I work in management and can tell you this is not how you treat customers AT ALL, chipotle is this really the people you have watching over your store? I’ve seen general managers get let go first hand for being rude to the customers, if this isn’t fixed trust me you will be loosing a significant amount of business, as this is right next to a college which is a hotpot.
