I don't know how these guys have 4.8 rating from ~200 people, seems strange looking at the taste and to top it off the service. Wanted to try this place after my friends recommendation. I drove 20 mins to go pickup the food as they said the food will be ready within 15 minutes when i ordered the noodles and fried rice on the phone. Waited for another 30 mins at the food truck and picked up the food after almost 50 mins and drove back home for another 20 minutes only to have the food tasting crazy spicy, some of us even cried eating this food, not with joy but with the spicyness. We ordered medium spice but they gave us 10/10 spicy food, and portions are small as well for the price paid. Overall worst food and terrible service. I still don't know why Google won't bring 0 star rating. EDIT: SOME GUY FROM THIS PLACE CALLED AFTER LOOKING AT THIS REVIEW AND HE'S NOT EVEN TALKING NICELY TO ME FOR PUTTING OUT THIS REVIEW. I DISCONNECTED CALL, BUT HE KEPT CALLING ME LIKE 4 TIMES SO I DECIDED TO ANSWER. GREAT TO SEE TRUE COLORS OF PEOPLE WHEN THEY CAN'T HANDLE HONEST REVIEWS. THIS IS THE EXACT SERVICE THAT I WROTE MY ORIGINAL REVIEW ABOUT. Dude thinks he's still in India from the way he talks to people. NOTE: Since the guy mentioned that he has the recordings in the response, I really would like to hear the recording, I dare you to post it so everyone can listen to it and decide who is the real scammer here as I have repeatedly told him im 20 mins away. And other claim that the food was ready in 23 mins is also false. If he's really trying to work things out with us, he would not have called us and talked to us the way he talked. His recordings can show the same. Finally I really hope they get better at the customer service which is essential. I see an edit in the response today on 4th March 25, where he earlier mentioned he has recording of our conversation since I asked to post it so that everyone can see and determine who the real scammer is, he edited the response to remove that he has recording. And immediately after I left this 1 star review, they got like 10 five star reviews in the next hour, this took the rating back to 4.8 as he's claiming in the response. Everyone can tell the 5 star reviews are "organic" as they were flooded within the next hour of my 1 star review. Luckily I have a screenshot of his response before he removed that he has recording. Since you're claiming that the food was given in 23 mins, let me give you some facts. I called at 7:58 PM to be precise and spoke for 1 min 17 seconds to place the order, I assume you have call logs as well to verify along with call recordings and video footage. The food was given to me at 8:42PM, since you have the footage, you can verify my claim, this is a total of 44 minutes, a whole 20 mins more from what you claimed. I have the screenshot of when I called you, I can attach it as well. Noone need to advertise against you, since you are doing the damage yourself as people can read your responses to all the one star reviews. All of this could have been avoided if he had just talked to us decently not like a bully for posting my original 1 star review which again can be verified in the recording that he has of our conversation. And you forgot to mention in your response about the lady who was shouting at us in the call who I don't assume your wife like you assumed when talking to me. And finally, I assure that I have had food outside in India and here and let me tell you this is by far the worst experience I had AND I don't want any food from you even if its free AND I don't need any refund.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Taste of India CLT, and I must say, it was an extraordinary culinary journey that left me thoroughly impressed. This establishment truly captures the essence of authentic Indian street food, offering a diverse menu that caters to both traditional and adventurous palates. One of the standout dishes I tried was the Afghani Chicken Pulav. This aromatic rice dish, infused with a blend of spices, featured tender pieces of chicken that were both flavorful and succulent. The harmony of spices and the perfectly cooked basmati rice made each bite a delightful experience. Another highlight was the Fry Piece Chicken Pulav. This dish offered a unique twist with crispy fried chicken pieces nestled within the fragrant rice. The contrast between the crispy exterior of the chicken and the soft, flavorful rice was simply divine, showcasing the chef’s creativity and mastery over textures. The Chicken Noodles and Fried Rice dishes are also noteworthy. Both dishes exemplify the fusion of Indian and Chinese flavors, a testament to the versatility of the culinary team. The noodles were stir-fried to perfection, with a medley of vegetables and tender chicken pieces, all tossed in a savory sauce that had just the right amount of spice. The fried rice, on the other hand, was a comforting dish, with each grain infused with the essence of the spices and ingredients used, making it a must-try for any rice lover. A visit to Taste of India CLT would be incomplete without indulging in their Chitti Punugulu. These crispy, golden fritters made from rice and lentil batter are a popular street food snack, and for good reason. Served with a variety of chutneys, each bite offers a burst of flavors and textures that are both nostalgic and satisfying. The menu also boasts other popular items such as the Ghee Karam Dosa, a crispy rice crepe infused with spicy lentil powder and clarified butter, offering a rich and flavorful experience. The Chicken 65, a spicy, deep-fried chicken dish, is another favorite that perfectly balances heat and flavor, making it a delightful appetizer or snack. What sets Taste of India CLT apart is not just the authenticity and quality of their food, but also their commitment to providing a memorable dining experience. The staff is attentive and passionate about sharing the rich culinary heritage of India with their patrons. Whether you’re a seasoned lover of Indian cuisine or a curious newcomer, the team is more than happy to guide you through the menu, ensuring you find dishes that suit your palate. In conclusion, Taste of India CLT offers a vibrant and authentic dining experience that transports you straight to the bustling streets of India. With their diverse menu, exceptional service, and dedication to quality, it’s no surprise that this establishment has become a beloved spot for many. I highly recommend giving them a visit and embarking on a flavorful journey that you won’t soon forget.

Review: Taste of India Food Truck 📍 Visited: Monday night, around 8 PM I happened to stop by the Taste of India truck and left with nothing but a big smile (and a happy stomach). We started with Chicken 65, which was spot on — perfectly fried with a crisp outer layer, tossed in just the right amount of sauce (not drenched). The split green chillies, cashews, and curry leaves gave it that unmistakable South Indian flair. This was the Chicken 65 I’ve been craving. Next came the Raja Rani — decent, though it didn’t quite stand out after the Chicken 65, which had already set the bar high. The real nostalgia hit was with their street-style fried rice and noodles. It took me back to the flavors I grew up with over a decade ago in India — properly tossed in the wok with just the right balance of egg, chicken, and seasoning. We wrapped things up with Punugulu, and honestly, they couldn’t have been better. Light, crisp, and just addictive enough to keep going for “one more.” Everything was shared among four people, and what impressed me most was how satisfying yet light it felt — no heaviness or bloating that you might expect after a street-food feast. Kudos to Naveen and his wife for balancing their day jobs while following their passion for serving authentic food. This truck is a must-visit for: • Street-style fried rice & noodles 🍜 • Authentic South Indian Chicken 65 🍗 • Crispy, irresistible Punugulu 🍘 ⭐ Rating: 5/5 for authenticity, nostalgia, and taste.
