Ordered online at 9:40pm. Hours state open till 11pm. Paid for order, which stated pick up at 9:50pm. Notification came to phone stating that the order was ready for pickup. Upon arrival, as soon as I walk in the door before I even got to the counter, a young lady at the counter shouts toward me at the door that they are out of food, so if you paid for an order call some 800 number tomorrow to try to get a refund. The counter and food service counter were already cleaned out while I can see food in the back area on the tables. I ask what time they close and I’m told 10pm. Online it says 11pm, with a note that says hours verified by owner 4 days prior. I mention that it says 11pm and am told that was just a test period of closing at 11 that didn’t work out and that they are back to closing at 10pm. I told them I’d like to speak to a manager to receive a refund in lieu of calling on a weekend to some random 800 number scribbled on paper. Some young man comes out, stating all the same things with an attitude that is unprofessional and disrespectful. Basically the whole tone is “why are you upset, just call the number on the paper” I ask for a corporate number and am told that they don’t know it. I ask for their names and am told we don’t have to tell our names. So I took pictures of the employees to forward to corporate, and am told pictures aren’t allowed in the building. The young manager muttering under his breath it’s not a big deal. I am not a big CHIPOTLE fan but my kids eat it as a quick meal on the go or after work. The location here has gone downhill. It’s inconsistent in quality. Most orders are incorrect these days, food is often cold. Sometimes you get half a bowl of food, and half a container of guacamole. PS: I went to the Pineville Matthews location from there and am told all Chipotle restaurants are open until 11 and the guy kinda chuckled in disbelief when I told him the other restaurant was completely out of food, already cleaned up at 9:50, and that they supposedly...
Read moreIf I could give this no stars I would. I went to get chipotle 1/1/23 at 1:59pm order number 200. I don’t even know where to start… let’s start with wrong orders. My brothers order was completely wrong. He got a different bowl to what he ordered… which I do not understand how that is possible. Now let’s move on to the health code violations we witnessed not just once but twice. My brother ordered half regular steak and half new garlic steak. The guy put chicken in the bowl. Once my brother corrected him he removed the chicken out of my brothers bowl that was already made up with rice and beans back into the container to serve to other people. That is honestly disgusting. Someone like me who has a food allergy witnessing that was completely baffling. Moving on to the next violation. I ordered a burrito bowl and asked for the “regular steak.”’ He acknowledge and tried to charge me for double steak. Again… never ordered that. The other guy then did the same exact thing. My steak that was already in my bowl was picked out and thrown back in to serve to other clients. That is not a good look. Also how did I find a good amount of corn in my bowl when I never ordered corn due to the fact of I absolutely hate it. Probably some more cross contamination that is happening at this store. Now let’s talk about portions… since they removed my steak from my bowl they left me with 5 pieces. The toppings was a joke… and the guac was completely brown. This is honestly so horrible. On top of that I got a salad dressing and it didn’t even cover half my bowl. Can anyone explain if this is just laziness or if this store in incapable of being competent? We are very upset and disappointed and honestly praying we don’t get food poisoning from all the health violations this store obviously has the...
Read moreMy daughter’s burrito bowl weighed about half as much as mine. Not only is she disappointed in the amount of food, and hungry and angry, I am infuriated that Chipotle charged $11.25 (plus tax) for this. It barely reached the halfway point on the bowl.
There is already inconsistency in the take-out orders from this location; before today I considered it a 3-star restaurant at best.
I am appalled at this order. Is the idea that take-out customers won’t realize that the employees skimped on the ingredients until after they get home, so unable to address in the restaurant? All while the IVR on the restaurant’s contact phone runs in an endless loop that directs to a link in email that brings me to a web form? No actual opportunity to talk to the manager.
Or is it that I didn’t tip the employees in advance? Not that anyone would have deserved a tip on this anyway.
(As an aside, there were no plastic forks available, and all of the plastic spoons were wet. Yum.)
Either this restaurant has a serious training issue, or the manager has zero ability to do quality control, or Chipotle corporate is directing the staff to underserve their customers. This is unacceptable. Do your damn job.
Now I have an upset and hungry daughter. Thanks Chipotle, fantastic job tonight. Maybe this restaurant’s staff, including management, can actually do their job next time.
(Plus, the file size limit on the feedback page is far too low; I can’t even upload a standard iPhone photo, nor a PDF converted from that photo.)
