Marble Slab Creamery — Restaurant in Charlotte

Honestly not sure my take on this place considering the lack of customer service.The young lady who waited on my sister and I looked as if her face was going to crack if she smiled no greeting and minimal conversation.Not sure if it was us who she had a problem with or if she treats certain customers a certain way like i dont know it was just a weird awkward feeling being in there.I asked what does she recommend since it was our first time there she said she didnt know it just depends...what a great answer.So my sister ordered then I ordered however neither one of our orders looked anything like the pictures displayed.Seems like she didnt want us in there because she kind of just slapped our orders together.Their was no line so she really had no reason to not execute our order as shown on the picture.However the ice cream itself was tasty just lacked the amout of toppings shown in the picture because she was rushing.Still yet i loved the flavors and the concept was cool.Well worth the price.I spent 13bucks for my sister and I and they also had a cute selection of cones to chose from I thought that was pretty neat.Overall not the experiance i was hoping especially when I drove from Tega Cay just to try it.We have ice cream places here in Tega Cay just thought Id try a new...

The ice cream & shakes are good. I have an issue with the employees that work there. Poor customer service. I was there waiting for 15 minutes. Nobody was in the store except for me and another customer that was paying at the register. There were 2 employees at the store. One was taking care the customer at the register, the other employee was mopping the floor behind the counter. She did acknowledge that I was there waiting for someone to take my order. She ignored me & kept mopping. Then finally she stopped mopping because the other employee told her that I was next. She started to prepare my order which was 2 shakes. She took the blender put milk then 3 ice cream scoops. Then she stopped because the customer that already paid asked her about prices of the ice cream cones he just paid. She stopped my order and began doing the math on the customer order. In the meantime the other employee that was at the register before went to the back for 5 minutes then came back and joined the one who was doing the math. My order was left just like that. I got no choice but leave this freaking place very frustrated & disappointed. These morons should be...

False advertising on their "ice cream cakes." Yes, ice cream is their main thing here. But how the company advertises is not what I received. There was no substantial layer of sponge cake in here. See photos of their ads versus what I got. I've been wanting to try this product for a long time. Very disappointed with my purchase. I do not recommend purchasing their cakes from this location. If I wanted all ice cream I would've bought a Carvel ice cream cake.

In response to the owner's comment. It doesn't help to have another cake since the occasion is already over. My review is critiquing how your store does not hold the standards of what the company is advertising which is misleading and untrustworthy. Sure there are mishaps but this cake clearly did not have the main contents. It was presentable and as advertised on the outside until we cut it.
