I arrived at 7:14pm on a Saturday evening with my son. We walked here as our hotel was across the street. It was very busy. I was told there would be a 30-40 minute wait. I put my name down on the waitlist. I received a link where I could check my place in line. We were 14th 😩 The time moved slowly, actually. Bar seating became available but I was told that kids cannot sit at the bar. It’s not a NC rule. I wonder if it’s just a rule for the establishment, hmm. After 42 minutes of waiting, we were still 5th in line. At 8:01pm, I finally got a text that our table was ready. I was beyond hungry by this point. We were promptly seated by a host.
Service: 4/5 —At 8:03pm, a friendly waitress came over to take drink order. I got two waters and ordered the appetizer pretzel bites. The app came fairly quickly at 8:10pm. -Waitress didn’t introduce herself, which is a personal pet peeve of mine as I feel that is the most basic —We ordered food at 8:13pm. My son got the kids pepperoni pizza with fruit cup. I got the 8ct wings with the Smokey maple chipotle bbq sauce lol. I did ask to taste the sauce before I ordered it as it was many flavors haha. I liked it. —My drink came at 8:19pm. It was delicious. My son’s food came at 8:22pm. —My wings came at 8:28pm. We were sitting between the host stand and the kitchen. I actually noticed my wings had been sitting there a couple minutes before I received it —At 9:02pm, I ordered donut holes. I received them at 9:08pm.
Presentation: 4/5 —The pretzel bites were plated nicely and it came with queso and honey mustard. —My sons pizza was sliced into two pieces —The fruit cup was a decent size with mixed fruit (blueberries, strawberries, and cantaloupe, I believe) —My wings were accompanied with celery and carrots. —The donut holes had a basic presentation. They came with a side of chocolate and caramel. It was missing the powdered sugar and the chocolate/caramel drizzle. I guess they were in a rush?
Food Quality: 4/5 —Pretzel bits were the perfect temperature. The honey mustard was cold but the queso was warm. We aren’t a fan of honey mustard and meant to ask for double queso, but I forgot. —My son enjoyed his pizza. I ate one of his strawberries and it wasn’t cold as it should’ve been. The fruit either had just been sitting out of they put it under the heating lamp. —My wings were hot, nonetheless. They were mixed consistently. I like my wings charred and crispy. Some of the wings were perfect to my liking while others weren’t. —The donut holes were hot and fresh. I didn’t like the chocolate sauce and enjoyed the caramel sauce
Ambiance & Cleanliness: 5/5 -The establishment was clean and appropriate ambiance for the setting. No complaints. It’s family friendly with indoor and covered patio seating.
Value for Money: 5/5 -It was very affordable. The appetizer ($10), cocktail ($10), wings ($15), kids meal ($7), and dessert ($8) was a little over $50 after tax.
Overall Experience: 4/5 -Overall, it was a good experience. Only minor complaints such as being unable to sit at the bar, mixed doneness with my chicken wings, donut holes lacking in presentation, and warm fruit. I would return as I saw other items on the menu that I’d want to try.

Things can go wrong, mistakes happen, and our family was able to find a place for lunch. But it speaks volumes when a team member or owner steps up and takes responsibility for making things right. Even before this, I would recommend The Office for its location and atmosphere. Now, I recommend it for its people.
“We called about a month ago and requested a reservation for May 11, Mother's Day. We were told by a team member that they weren't accepting reservations and that we could only walk-in. We were specifically told that, if we were to walk in at 11:30 AM on Sunday, May 11, we "would be fine." We love The Office, so we agreed that we would stick with the plan recommended by the Office team member. We were even fine if we needed to wait a bit. On May 10, we called to confirm that we could still walk-in. We hoped to connect with a team member and give them prior notice beforehand as this was a special day for our family. We were told that, not only did The Office start taking reservations for May 11, but they were already completely booked up. The team member who explained this was very kind and professional, but it was still a disappointing situation that caused my family and me additional stress.
We called weeks beforehand to book a reservation in an attempt to prevent exactly what happened. We were left to scramble for another option, and we only wished that The Office had been more supportive and communicative in our attempt...
Read moreI’ve had the pleasure of dining at The Office Craft Bar and Kitchen several times, and each visit has been nothing short of fantastic. One of my favorite spots is the outdoor patio area—it’s the perfect place to unwind, enjoy good company, and take in the atmosphere. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between lively and relaxed, making it an ideal setting for both casual gatherings and special occasions.
What truly sets The Office apart, though, is its exceptional service. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re warmly greeted by the hostess, setting the tone for the rest of your experience. The servers are attentive, ensuring that drinks are filled and meals are enjoyed without a hitch. What impresses me most is the manager’s commitment to service—making rounds to check in with each table, ensuring that everyone is well taken care of. It’s a personal touch that makes every visit feel special.
