My experience with Hasaki take out. My first order, the food was dry. On my second visit I mentioned this to the checkout agent. Who just shrugged his shoulders. My second order was just acceptable. I noticed that the seated patrons received large portions of food, which was not my experience on both my first and second orders. My third experience, I found that my chicken teriyaki was dry. In fact, I choked on it. I could not return to the restaurant as I had meetings all day. However, I did return 3 hrs later to return to the store and inform the staff of my experience. I asked for my money back but they refused. I was reprimanded by a very young man that I waited over 3 hrs. to file my grievance. So they were not obliged to offer any remedy. However, he said on this time they will make an exception. I found upon return to my office that the chicken was still dry. Upon return to my office I found that the chicken was still dry. I immediately went back to the restaurant wherein they admitted that they reheatedthe chicken I returned and dumped teriyaki sauce on it. A woman who presented herself as a manager repeated that the chicken was returned too late...3hrs. and that is why the chicken was dry. She also accused me of eating more than half of the chicken all that I did eat was the brown rice and carrots. Of course a few pieces I initially choked on. She was combative and not cooperative. She placed the responsibility flatly on me. She also accused me of disrespecting her employee, when it was the reverse. ..as I noted above. At the conclusion of our conversation she told me to turn around and walk out of the door. She also unform her staff to call the police. I informed her that there was a better way of handling the matter and that she was being disrespectful to me. It ended by her stating without sincerity, have a good day. Observing this restaurant I noted how the white patrons are treated with more care. I believe if I were a white male or Asian, I would not have been treated in this way. The disrespect I experienced here, I encourage black people and others not to patronize...

Service Bad... the cashier acts like she has an attitude when taking my order I asked for steak and shrimp Hibachi this is the first place that didn't ask how I want my steak...I received a phone call forgot to say it when ordering so I go back to tell her right quick and she begrudgingly goes to tell them "he wants it med rare now"... you never asked me in the first place so I say" I always get mine med rare".(and its still not med rare) I also asked for a water cup an she almost rolls her eyes but when another customer comes in who doesn't look like me is all I will say she is all perky and he asked for a water cup and she is too excited to give it to him and take his order... so I ask drink most of my water and decide after this I want a lil bit of soda water so I put some sprite on it she watches me like a hawk and then says I'm going to charge you for your soda I pour it out and leave with my food... MY ppl if you go here and a short round Asian girl is behind the...

Great place for sushi and hibachi! I recently dined at Hasaki Grill & Sushi, and it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was modern and inviting, with a sleek design that set the tone for a great meal. I started with their miso soup, which was warm and comforting, a perfect way to begin the meal.

For my main course, I opted for the sushi platter, and it was outstanding. Each piece was fresh and beautifully presented, with a variety of flavors that showcased the chef's skill. The spicy tuna roll was a highlight—perfectly spicy and deliciously creamy.

I also tried the hibachi grilled shrimp, which was succulent and cooked to perfection, served with vegetables that were crisp and flavorful. The service was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

Overall, Hasaki Grill & Sushi offers a delightful dining experience with a fantastic selection of sushi and grilled dishes. I can’t wait to return and try more...

Just what I was in the mood for. Fresh, healthy ingredients and delicious taste. Casual place. Pretty large menu with lots of cooked and uncooked Sushi options. I don’t eat uncooked seafood so I ordered the vegetable dumplings and jumbo shrimp and chicken with rice and vegetables. Came with miso soup that was splendid. Perfect post workout meal. Service was super attentive. My server, Ethan, was great. He honored my request to put the Thursday Football Game on one of the televisions and then even moved me to a better seat so I could see the game better. Food was so good I came back again the next night. Only difference was my appetizer which was the squid salad. Delicious. Just as fabulous! So… if you’re looking for good Asian cuisine in a very casual place, look no further.

I got food poisoning from eating the food here (jumbo shrimp & scallops dinner). The food looked nice and I was excited to try it, but halfway through my meal, I felt excruciating nausea and pain ripple through my body. I emptied my guts twice in the restroom, before I could breathe again. I asked the manager to consider voiding the fee of my meal, or at least giving me a discount because I had basically eaten nothing - empty stomach going in, empty stomach going out. He denied there being anything wrong with his food, even though the food clearly made me sick, and told me to pay the full price. Not the best experience to start off my trip here to Charlotte, and definitely would not consider coming back here :(.

It's not much of a sushi bar. Very few items to choose from. Nothing more than a fast food American Japanese restaurant. Standard stuff that you can bet in any city on every other corner. My first question was do you have Kani SU and the reply was what? Plastic cups plastic plates to be downtown Charlotte you think you would have a little more hip to it Health rating of a 97. It took 10 minutes to get to spring rolls and they appear to be overcooked and of course the food showed up at the same time as help. My daughter ordered steak and they gave her chicken so we're not getting off to a good start . Sushi chef with no hat or hair net on yuck
