This was my first time eating in Charlotte and I wanted some vegan food. I love the restaurant in Durham and Chapel Hill because they had the veggie burger and veggie calzone with the spinach and daiya cheese. But, they have changed to follow your heart cheese. So, I ordered the veggie calzone and my husband ordered the sausage calzone. The hostess was wonderful. Our waitress Lisa was very interactive, intuitive, went over and beyond her service and duty as our waitress, had excellent customer service, and she deserves a raise. She said she was a newbie, but she presented herself as a seasoned waitress on her way to manager or CEO status. When Lisa brought out my veggie calzone, she requested a new one be made before I could because it had butter and parmesan cheese. That was awesome of her to be proactive for a vegan because I am allergic to dairy and meat and most restaurants are insensitive to vegans' request. So, a LARGE KUDOS to LISA!!!! She was such an attentive waitress to us and it was a very busy Saturday evening. She even checked on questions for us and gave us expedient answers She was very knowledgeable of the menu, even vegan food, very impressive. Thanks for making us feel welcome in Charlotte.

This food was reaaaaally not good. I have to say, the staff is GREAT! Really kind and attentive, multiple people and our server checked on us throughout the night. The hostess is also wonderful. My review is strictly on the food and not the great people working there. Now. The food. We both got calzones, boyfriend got a sausage one and I got a modified veggie one with vegan cheese and tempeh instead of regular. They were both very undercooked (photos) vegan cheese doesn’t melt as much, but I know it melts more than this. And my boyfriend’s also had cold, unmelted regular cheese in the middle. We also got pretzel bites without the butter and parm. As you can see it’s literally just calzone dough in the shape of a pretzel🤣 I think this might be on us, but regardless it was really hilarious. I’ve removed the dairy from many pizza place items and have never received such a thing. It also took a good 45 mins to receive this food, which it was really busy when we came during the holiday lights event. Overall this food was so not good (even worse reheated) that I don’t think we’d be back. If they can improve their menu and keep the same awesome staff I’d be all over that!

Would like to try a different location next time. The server was not there/aware of us at all. Our waitress was not very educated on the menu and always seemed lost in what she was doing even though we didn’t ask for much nor that it was busy. The pizza wasn’t hot - but the burger was. Unfortunately not when we ate it because it took a long time to just get another drink and Mayo from our waitress. We ordered two adult drinks. Second time around order another (one was the exact same as the first) and she bought back a totally different drink knowingly and asked “is this the same one because it doesn’t look like it”. The whole experience was a downfall…..I loved my vegan cheese pizza so that’s why there is two stars. Nothing came with our burger so I’m not sure if we go back and pay almost $15 for a regular burger that only came with what you see below. We didn’t mind staying a little longer to drink maybe get a pizza to go since we spent $82 why not make it an even $100 However when your waitress is not in-tuned with her customers they lost out on more money. Next time I’m hoping to go to the South Park location for a better experience!

They need staff badly which made my experience not so enjoyable…. The food was good although it took so long to get our order. When we arrived they were not packed at all only had one side of the restaurant open for dine in due to only having 2 servers. Told us it would be at least a hour wait for a party of 3, (my fiancé and our daughter) …. Probably waited about 50mins to be seated due to my fiancé really wanting to have lunch there we stayed. The servers had maybe 3 tables a leach including my family but was very much noticeably under distress. The server was very short and wasn’t showing interest in being at work but took our order probably 20 /25 mins after being seated 🤦🏽‍♀️😩 which was terrible because my toddler was ready to eat after such a long wait……… I don’t recommend purchasing the kids pizza from this place! It was a waste of money as my daughter didn’t even touch it. I don’t blame her because it was literally a piece of soggy bread soaked in tomato sauce with 3 pepperonis melted in a hand full of cheese. Couldn’t even pull it apart to eat without the (“pizza”) turning into a big mess of slob 😂….. I didn’t complain because they were overwhelmed with the few customers they did have and still paid for it. My daughter ended up eating with us and the extra large house special was pretty good besides the raw tomatoes, (if you order this make sure to ask for the tomatoes to be put on before it comes out the oven or ELES the juice from the tomatoes will Soak the pizza slices before you can finish the 1st slice. I was so astonished by the atmosphere that I looked to see if they were at least hiring since they were overwhelmed with the handful of customers they had. Indeed they were and the advertising was for 6.75$ hour plus tips which is bogus….. I don’t blame the workers for their lack of attentiveness because this place is over priced 32$ for one pizza and that’s not including the drinks….. other words saying this company makes enough revenue to take of the workers who keep the place going….. this establishment is privately owned so they aren’t overseeing the works of what’s happening in the restaurant which makes customers have a less positive experience….. if I eat here again it would definitely be Togo orders only. Lastly I tipped the waiter 35$ even though she wasn’t on her job or checking on us or even communicating more than the bare minimum…. As she took her tip my daughter said (“thank you , Bye bye “) and the waiter just looked at her rolled her eyes and walked off smh 🤦🏽‍♀️ my daughter kept saying it as she must’ve thought the lady didn’t hear her …. I had to tell her it’s okay she is having a bad day let’s go …… continued to pack up and tidy up the table as i always do it (“it’s a habit”) and proceeded to leave …. And I saw our waiter outside sitting at the patio smoking a cigarette looking stressed…. Smh she must have been ready for us to leave so she could get a smoke in but at least she could have responded to my daughter said bye asked if we needed anything as we were leaving or something or maybe I’m overthinking it….. we’ll I just hope that they get more workers and pay what they are worth , at least minimum wage and that this place gets management that will ensure the place is up and running sufficiently to ensure other guest don’t have a...

I would stay away from this location at all costs. Stopped in to grab dinner after a panthers game 11/24/24, obviously knew it was going to be busy and expected a long wait. The host/hostess said we were looking at an hour which again was no biggie considering there was a line out the door when we arrived. So strike number one, we are a family of 4, another family of 4 behind us in line proceeded to tip the hostess to get seated in front of everyone and sure enough they did. The host/hostess also proceeded to seat some their “friends” before everyone else too. To each their own, but shame on the hostess for taking the money and I hope management sees this and takes proper disciplinary action. Now after about a 45 minute wait we were seated, not quite the hour that we were expecting so could easily look past the bribing of from the people that got seated before us. Our waiter took our drink order brought the drinks back in a timely fashion and then took our order. We ordered 2 gluten free pizzas as one of our kids has celiac and the other was for someone who just doesn’t like to eat gluten, we also ordered a regular crust medium pepperoni pizza. After a few minutes of discussing the servers allergy in comparison to our sons allergy the server then proceeded to put our order in. Now here is strike 2, a while has passed by and our server comes by and says I think your order should be coming up shortly. Again not a big deal as I know they were busy, hence the hour wait to sit down, so no biggie. Then about 45 after we sat down the server comes to us and starts apologizing repeatedly that he has no idea why our food hasn’t come out yet. Mind you the entire time we as a family have been very understanding of the situation and not really sure why the server is apologizing so much, it’s busy we understand. After about an hour after sitting down our food comes out but there’s a problem, one of the gluten free pizzas was entered incorrectly as just an “allergy” so was prepared as dairy free. The other pizzas were prepared as they should be, but unfortunately the persons pizza that was incorrect was the one who has celiac. So the manager said they will put an urgent refire for the gluten free pizza, oh and this is just a gluten free “cheese” pizza. That ended up taking about another 30 minutes. Again, people make mistakes, it’s busy, shit happens, but we have now been at this establishment for well over 2 hours pushing into 3. Now here is strike 3, I’m not one who looks at getting anything for free, but when you’ve been at an establishment for almost 3 hours, been jumped in front of in line by money and friendship, and you finally get your order and the one person who needs it to be correct is wrong some sort of compensation should have been offered, but all we got were a lot of apologies. We paid our bill and I still tipped normal 20% as I know it was busy and not all faults fall on a server, but I people read this and take this into consideration when making a choice to eat at...

I scheduled a party of 20 people for 12/18 at 6p. I booked this on 12/11, a week in advance. I originally booked it with an employee by the name of Kim, followed up and spoke with Santana to modify the party size to 15 people, and spoke with another employee to pre-order the food. I spoke with multiple employees since the 11th (when I originally booked). The day before my party 12/17, I was asked by one of your employees to move my party up 15 to 30 minutes earlier. I agreed and then I told my guest and they said that the original time 6p works better for them. I called the day of my party 12/18 as soon as you opened at 11a and told another employee that the time they wanted me to move it to at 5:45p did not work since I had already told all my guests 6p.. A manager by the name of Tasha then got on the phone and stated that the day I booked my party 12/18 was the same day of their employee party in Concord, and that the time all together did not work because we needed to be out by 6:30p. I told her that was unacceptable! I talk to way too many employees within a weeks time for no one to advise me of an employee party on the same day until the day before, and even then they only mentioned possibly moving the party up not that we had to be out in less than an hour or cancel. didn’t say we had to be out so early. I also advised her that I spoke to multiple employees since 12/11 (when I originally booked) and this is a first that someone’s telling me about the conflicting schedules. This was a major inconvenience to myself as well as all my guests, especially considering we are celebrating an 18th birthday, a huge milestone. Tasha did eventually apologize and explained that Kim had only been there a week or so as an employee. I understand that, however, that does not change how badly the situation was handled. — Also, Tasha stated she would email me her contact information so we are well taken care of in the future. Needless to say, she never sent me her...
