Incredible views of Uptown from South Park. Really classy ambience. Drinks are pretty solid. Service, although friendly, was fairly inattentive and scattered. We ordered food and the order never got placed by our server. After waiting 30+ minutes and tired of waiting for our server to follow up, we asked another server about the status on the food and she told us the order was never placed. She offered to replace the order and comp the meal which we appreciated, but we declined. The word never got back to our original server so she never acknowledged the mistake. There seemed to be a lot of people wearing multiple hats. They had two bartenders also doubling as servers and hostesses. They had one chef in the kitchen or so we are told. Not sure if there was a manager on duty or if it was just the three of them doing the best they could. The obvious problem to me is that they were severely understaffed. Hopefully this is a result of the pandemic and will improve. I can’t imagine a high end hotel having troubles or lack of funding to fill these roles but who knows. The potential for this spot is really high. I look forward to coming back with hopes of...
Read more2 stars might be generous. Made the mistake of coming here for a birthday, and it was by far the least pleasant experience of an activity-filled day. Drinks were terrible and nothing like they should be made based on the classic recipe of that drink; it was a much worse version. The majority of the party had heartburn from the bitterness and excessive lemon juice in everything and we had to stop by a pharmacy to split a bottle of tums. Someone who is a "lightweight" said they have felt more buzz from a single bottle of Corona than they did from their $20 cocktail, it was almost virgin. Several of the drinks listed on the menu could not be made due to unavailability of ingredients. How? Why? One bartender is not enough for this place, especially one that needs to go back to...
Read moreWow! What a disappointment! No love in their food. The Honey Citrus Manchego was nothing but just canned oranges with watered-down honey and a few pieces of cheese, and we couldn't find the pistachios. Some fresh bread to go with the dish would have probably made a little bit of a difference but they didn't offer it. The Tomato-Proscuitto toast were made with tomato paste. It was probably unreasonable for us to expect fresh crushed tomatoes. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience and would not...
