I have food allergies. They vary depending on the food and the quantity eaten. I'm a commercial truck driver. One effect food I'm allergic to can have on me is dizzy spells and passing out. Not good for a truck driver. Needless to say, I'm m careful about what i eat. Last night i ordered some domino's. I ate the bread sticks first which were great. Then I started eating the pizza. A few bites in I noticed the taste was funny not like what I was used to. Before finishing the first piece I realized it had the wrong sauce on it. I called the location. I ordered pizza from and I was first asked if I wanted a refund or fifty percent off on my next order. The manager wanted to argue with me about the sauce And was missing the whole concern. You have to be more careful when preparing food for people. You never know when what you are preparing will cause someone to be sick or even cause death. In my case , if I eat the wrong food and it has the effect of causing me to pass out , it could kill many people. I had walked over to pick up the pizza because a 75 foot. Long truck doesn't exactly fit in front of most domino's. Fortunately I didn't have to go anywhere until the next day. So I was left suffering in my truck vomiting. Today I finish my delivery and while I have a chance to drive just my tractor I went and returned the pizza to the dominos. The manager wanted to have the same exact argument. Fo all I know. It was the exact same manager as last night considering I never saw the man. I know their job isn't dangerous like mine in the same ways as Mine is, But what they do can't put people's life at risk. It seems that the manager last night in the manager today , if they are different people , both miss this point. I walked out with no refund, no discount. My food left on the counter and I promise not to be a customer again if this is how they're going to handle issues. Where somebody put the wrong sauce on food and caused someone to be ill. While I was talking to the manager today I did show my order history which shows that I order the exact same way everytime , except when i'm ordering for my wife or daughter as well. I believe that the person making the pizza made an honest mistake. They missed the customization on the pizza order and used the normal sauce for that pizza. But the way they handled it when told is inappropriate. They need training on handling the disabled and dealing with people disabilities. Yes, allergies are a disability. I have near a dozen recognized disabilities, yet i still manage to do a dangerous job that keeps the public applied with the things they need.
Update. They reached out asking for me to coat them directly. I did so hoping to get a dialog going about food safety regarding food allergies, especially as a DOCTOR just died at a Disney restaurant few days before, from food allergies. They never responded to that. I refused the initial offer for free food by hanging up on the store manager. Told the folks i emailed that i didn't want anything but ensuring safety. Now i get an offer for a free pizza. Considering they don't take safety seriously, i can't see ever being a domino's customer again. If you have food allergies, or are concerned about hygiene of a restaurant (considering they disregard food allergy concerns) then i wouldn't risk domino's.
May be time for a $1 law suit to force training and adherence...
Read moreAlmost every Friday or Saturday, I get a pan pizza from my local Dominos. I get the same pizza every time. You can look up my orders it you like. This time was a little different and I only ordered a thin crust cheese pizza. I was told it would be 30 minutes and it was, that was the only thing that was good about this order. When the delivery person dropped off the pizza it was cut in to little squares I have never gotten a thin crust with little squares. Why is it when you order online you can get it pie cut but when you place it over the phone they don't even ask you and just assume you get it square cut. If you offer the option online this should also be asked on the phone too, that way the customer is not surprised and disappointed. When you get a pizza you think of pie slices not squares. Very disappointed, I sent in a excellent review a couple of months back and after that the service has been terrible. The last 3 pizza I received were wrong and they had to either remake or give me credit. Also when I tried to explain to the manager that I was talking to all he did was argue with me and try to justify the pizza. So I will not be ordering from Dominos any more and letting my friends know about this situation. The location I ordered from the 14154 Steele Creek Rd Charlotte, NC on 11/22/2020. Thank you, you just lost a loyal customer. Have...
Read moreIf you don’t want to work for fast food or is having a bad day don’t work period . A team member named Kirby portraying to be a mgr. I did in fact contact coporate and I did put in a complaint because this is highly unacceptable. I had a very rude team member hang up on me while I was speaking , said he was a mgr. when I called back he pretended to still be a mgr then proceeded to say I need to bring the pizza in for refund. I have no car. I had to call a Lyft to drop the pizza back off. I then spoke to a real mgr when I arrived. The mgr stated he’s not a mgr. mgr or not there’s no reason to hang up on my face. I was very polite and for him to hang up while lying to be a mgr is crazy. When I arrived there was only 3 men working. Kirby ( who played mgr) was doing dough ignored me when I asked for mgr. I proceed to ask him was he Kirby. He was being snotty stubborn and rude. And that is why I did go out my way to take an Uber to take that pizza back because no way would a mgr would do something like that. I am not happy about this experience and the google reviews really speaks highly on this location which is sad. If you’re frustrated with work then go home. Do not take it out on...
