My co-workers and I pre-ordered a pizza online at 5:20pm with a guaranteed delivery time of 7pm (if we were to request it ASAP, the website said it would have taken 20 minutes. This is important later). We requested it for 7 because a coworker leaves at 7:30 and that would allow him time to eat with us. Around 6:40 their tracker says our pizza is cooking. At 7:20, it still says the pizza is cooking. I call the store and after explaining the dilemma, I'm put on the phone with a manager. He (I wish I remembered his name) told me the pizza was just now going in the oven and will be done very soon. When I stated we ordered it ahead of time to be delivered by 7, I was met with an attitude and that "they are at a 2 hour wait time so thats about right." Most online ordering wont allow the user to choose a delivery time earlier than possible, so I couldnt see how our 2 hour wait time was "about right". When I explained that a coworker is set to leave in 10 minutes and we preordered the pizza at that certain time for a reason, the manager chose to void our order instead and quickly got off the phone. Im never one to send food back or complain about it, so I was really shocked at the "customer service". Since that night we have refused to order Marco's and instead we call in an order to a local pizza shop near them instead. Unfortunately, we really enjoyed Marco's pizza but that interaction left me with a bad taste...
Read moreI LOVE Marcos! Including tonight, I've ordered from them three times and I have yet to be let down! A few weeks ago during lunch time my daughter and I were hungry and had a taste for pizza, I've never been inside of Marcos but I was willing to give it a try. The customer service was amazing and the woman behind the counter told me all about the different pizza's and specialties that were offered. I ultimately ordered a personal pizza for my daughter and I to share and we LOVED IT! In fact we loved it so much, that same night I ordered it for dinner and my husband was impressed as well. Well, tonight at the last minute I decided to order pizza. Marcos was the only place open and since I knew their pizza was amazing I had no problem ordering. I'm assuming my order was the last order that was being made for delivery because they gave us an extra pie! Of course my family cannot eat all of that pizza tonight, but tomorrow is another day that I won't have to cook! They definitely cemented themselves a loyal customer! By the way, I used the pizza tracker on their website and my pizza arrived before the time indicated on the website. The BBQ Chicken pizza was decent at best mostly because the dough was a little under cooked and someone was very heavy handed with the onions. Also, instead of light sauce, the pepperoni pizza arrived with no sauce on half the pizza. The delivery driver was pleasant however when I called the store to complain about the order I spoke with David the GM. I informed him of the error and he stated that they made the order exactly as it was placed online. I told him that this was my first time ordering from their restaurant online and that I was sure that I ordered light sauce on the entire pizza. David stated that the mistake was not theirs and insinuated that the error could have only been made by me. He would not replace the pizza and would only offer half off another with an additional delivery fee. Unfortunately, we are stuck paying for a pizza that our children would not eat.
