Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Charlotte

I hate to write this review but until the issue gets taken care of I will update it.. I’ve been coming to this location for over 3/4 months and From this one particular manger I always receive unnecessary attitude and rudeness but I never made a complaint I just let it be this is not the first time she has treated me this way there have been plenty of times of dealing with her rudeness she doesn’t even greet or speak to me while making my order and gives me a weird look as if she’s just always very annoyed ..she’s very unfriendly!! there was also trash it looked like Saran Wrap that fell in the queso that was used and I guess no one notice it for about 3 minutes when i mentioned it to the staff he just took it out with the same gloves that looked like it hasn’t been changed in a while.. when I was getting ready to pay for my order I had a free burrito mind you I come to this location more then 3 times a week and have been attending this location for more then 3/4 months far more then a regular customer so I know how exactly the store should be ran… and from this same manger she has given me the same attitude and rudeness when I was getting ready to pay for my order I explained I was paying with two different cards which I have done MULTIPLE TIMES (with receipts to prove it aswell) she wouldn’t listen to me this whole time..the manager tried to argue with me saying not only I can’t do that but was trying to argue/ fuss with me having a free burrito stating I need to purchase something with it… which I did…. I guess she didn’t realize at that moment that I did but she was saying I needed more items to purchase with the order which i actually did the xtra toppings was just enough to cover it. so it was no sense on even having that discussion.., I get if she was confused but to come off very rude is unnecessary with out even owning up to the mistake as in apologizing.. once I ate the burrito it tasted cold and old not fresh at all I didn’t even get much protein on the order due to it being the last little bit that was in the container which was old! and I had more of the juice then the actual meat itself they stated the next batch wasn’t going to be ready untill 30 minutes so I took what they had the burrito just didn’t live up to the standards it usually does…this whole experience honestly ruined my day and was very disappointing wished I just saved my free burrito for...

We have been to this location numerous times and were greatly disturbed by the quality of food and cleanliness of the restaurant this visit. My husband and I both had chicken burritos. After ordering we attempted to find a clean table, there were not any (surprising since it was 11:20 and they just opened). So we cleaned one ourselves. Both burritos completely tore in half upon the first bite, I am assuming because the shell was way to thin. This has never happened before and made eating impossible. We both got forks and ate off the foil. 1/3 of the way through the burrito we both had multiple pieces of hard uncooked rice. I threw my burrito away half way through. It was disgusting. Actually not edible with the hard rice (it hurt my teeth). The chips were rubbery and my husband exchanged them, the replacement was the same (I am assuming under cooked). Also did not eat the chips. Upon leaving we both used the bathroom Both ladies and mens had no garbage can, paper towels sitting on sink and completely dirty. We were so excited when this Salsaritas opened near our house. It has been great and it’s our go to restaurant at least once a week. Tonight was disappointing. I only get 4 items on my taco salad. I asked for pork and it was very minimal. I asked for a little more and she told me it would be $2.50. My son got pork nachos and had the same issue. I told her that she was using MUCH smaller portions than anyone there ever has and I would appreciate it if she would add more to our meals. She refused unless we paid and said she was undergoing training. Ok, well I’m telling you that you are doing it wrong and aren’t consistent with how Salsaritas serves their food. What she doesn’t understand is that you can leave tips there and we are good tippers. Tonight they got nothing because of her attitude. Hopefully that’s not the type of people they are going to continue to employ here. We need to keep good restaurants...
