the bistro at Courtyard — Restaurant in Charlotte

I wrote a great review over a year ago when I stayed here. I've come back since and didn't feel the need to update. However, I recently came back to Charlotte and I was so excited to see that my favorite bartender (Kat) is back! She makes THE BEST espresso martinis! Not to mention the fact that the hotel has gotten new management and a renovation! The bistro has definitely stepped up their game as far as food quality and alcohol selection! Plastic cutlery wrapped in plastic from restaurant Drinks in plastic cups Ketchup in packets New paint and carpets and etc but man you can still tell this is a tired old hole. It's just an old motel trying hard and not succeeding..

All that said the fries and burger were served really hot, even if they were trash... Cant blame the restaurant for their bosses buying garbage products... They did great work with what they had... service was great! .. but I'll be happy if I never airport overnight in a spot...

As others have said, the bartender is great and she helps this place shine. The food is good... This is a hotel bistro so I don't expect a lot, but with that in mind everything was hot and fresh and well made. Given that there aren't other restaurants nearby it's more than adequate and deserves a higher...
