I recently visited The Vicious Biscuit in Charlotte NC and I must say, I was extremely impressed with every aspect of my experience. From the delicious food to the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere, this restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way.

First and foremost, the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered The Fat Boy, The Vicious Biscuit, and The Cubano, and each dish was expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. The Fat Boy was a decadent sandwich filled with fried chicken, bacon, cheese, and sausage gravy, all piled high on a fluffy biscuit. The Vicious Biscuit was absolutely delicious. The Cubano was a mouth-watering combination of roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard on a pressed Cuban roll. Each dish was expertly crafted and packed with flavor, making it difficult to choose a favorite.

The wait staff at The Vicious Biscuit was also incredibly friendly and attentive, making my dining experience even more enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to answer any questions I had. Additionally, they made sure to check in regularly to ensure that everything was to my liking and that I had everything I needed. The service was prompt and efficient, yet never felt rushed or impersonal.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was also a standout feature. The laid-back, casual vibe was the perfect complement to the delicious, comforting food. The space was clean and well-maintained, and the décor added to the cozy feel of the restaurant. I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout my meal, and it was clear that the staff takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for their guests.

Overall, I cannot recommend The Vicious Biscuit enough. From the delicious food to the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in Charlotte, NC. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast sandwich or a satisfying lunch option, The Vicious Biscuit has something for everyone. Their commitment to quality ingredients, expertly crafted dishes, and exceptional service make this restaurant a standout in the Charlotte dining scene.

If you're looking for a five-star dining experience without the stuffy atmosphere, The Vicious Biscuit is the perfect choice. Whether you're dining alone, with friends, or with family, you're sure to enjoy the delicious food, friendly service, and laid-back atmosphere that this restaurant has to offer. I can't wait to return to The Vicious Biscuit to try more of their delicious menu items and enjoy another...

Review - Vicious Biscuit Arboretum

They have lots of outdoor seating. REALLY COOL MENU. Great open space inside, clean. Exceptional courteous staff and fast service.

Vicious Beignets Keto Bowl Fried green tomatoes Crispy Bacon Vicious Candied Bacon Jalapeño Chedder Biscuits Gluten free biscuit Fat Boy Biscuit (crispy fried chicken, spicy honey, pimento cheese)

I’ve been wanting to try this place forever. Finally got there today!

WOW WOW WOW!

This place is absolutely a must try, really good quality ingredients, cooked perfectly, love the combination of flavors - no one thing is overpowering.

I couldn’t even tell you what my favorite was because I enjoyed every single dish!

The beignets were fabulous, not quite like savannah - but close enough for sure! Even the hint of salt was just so complementary. The strawberry whipped cream sauce? Oh my God. Really excellent flavors!

The biscuits taste fabulous and HOLY COW - that fried chicken buscuit? I would order the chicken all in its own! If I had to pick a favorite because of the combination of ingredients? It would probably be this one.

Fried green tomatoes were smaller than what you might find in some of the other restaurants, but it was perfect - a really good complimentary size to taste. I love the breading and the flavor of the tomato.

Got a gluten-free biscuit for my daughter, so we’ll see how it is, and two jalapeño cheese biscuits for Fiancé. I tasted them and absolutely, really fantastic biscuits - worth a to go order for sure.

The keto bowl was excellent, it was small but that was OK - I was able to finish the entire thing and all the ingredients were fresh and well put together.

I tried both their bacons and its good - but - I would skip the regular crispy bacon next time and go with the spicy bacon.

I got that for Fiancé to try - I tasted a bite holy cow - yes, if you like a little bit of heat that is definitely something you should order and try. Portion was flavorful and slightly larger than the regular crispy bacon.

Definitely worth a visit!!! I feel I have to mention, that’s the music is awesome 😎 mix of 70s, 80s

There isn’t table service, you place your order are given a number and they bring it to the table. You have to get your utensils and napkins etc. at the Jam bar.

Staff was extremely helpful and courteous, the place is clean, well lit and open. too hot for me outside, but it would be awesome...

UPDATE (1/25/25) My husband (who is usually not a breakfast person) loves this place, and often suggests it if anyone mentions brunch. We usually go on Sundays but this time we decided to go on Saturday mid-morning instead, and it was definitely a good call. Any time we've come on a Sunday around 11am, the line is usually out the door and sometimes even wrapped around the front of the building! We got our usuals (Huevos Rancheros and the Mater with a fried chicken add-on) and they were amazing as always. (NOTE: the options available to order ahead for pickup does NOT include their full menu! If you are planning to pick up the food yourself then I recommend calling in your order since you can get anything on the menu that way.) Update 10/20/24 Today we ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes (4 huge slices with bacon jam and pimento cheese), the Fat Boy (still great) and a new one called the Huevos Rancheros (sooooo good!). We thoroughly enjoyed everything and weren't even able to finish it all. We officially have declared Vicious Biscuit to be our new favorite brunch spot in Charlotte. Now here's hoping they expand at their current location or they open a second one around Charlotte soon. Either way, they are wildly popular so until they expand, just be prepared for a line outside. ORIGINAL REVIEW We went for brunch today and it was great. We got a carafe of mimosas for the table (which was perfect for 4 people). Food wise, our party got the Vicious biscuit (their iconic offering), the Fat Boy biscuit (good but chicken was under seasoned), the Babe biscuit (good but a bit too much bbq sauce imo), the sweet potato waffle with bacon and fruit (delicious!) and a starter of Fried 'Maters to share (both the pimento and the bacon jam were fantastic on it.) We would definitely go back! Be aware that you will order at the counter, get a number, then go find a table and they bring you your food, so it's important to get there early on the weekends. By the time we left the line was out the door! Thankfully they do have both inside and covered outside seating though...
