Wendy's — Restaurant in Charlotte

I would give this location 0 stars if possible. I have been to this location many times since its the only place my daughter likes to eat but tonight was the last draw. EVERY time I go here, even before Covid, its a minimum of 20 minutes just to get some cheese fries. There can be no one else in line and still an obnoxiously long wait. I always order extra shredded cheese and pay extra for it. I rarely actually get the extra cheese despite paying for it but tonight, no exaggeration, they put no cheese sauce on and only like 5 little pieces of shredded cheese on top. The girl even smirked at me when she handed me the bag making it apparent she did it in purpose. As far as I am concerned that is the same as stealing when you charge someone for a product and purposely withhold it from them. If the manager reads this, I was there tonight at 640pm. These are the same type of employees that think they should be paid $15 an hour. Your store has permanently loss my business. Its one thing to be short staffed and asking for patience but that is and was not the case tonight. Your employees clearly did this on purpose and I seen many employees behind the window working so there was no excuse for the long waits or orders purposely...

Worst fast food experience ever. These guys were overwhelmed. Sat in the drive through line forever. Held my hand out the window dangling my money for a couple minutes because the kid couldn't multitask talking and grabbing money - isn't that why they wear wireless headsets? While he was friendly and animated, everything else was a complete fail. They gave me the wrong meal AFTER I sat there for five minutes because they didn't have any chicken cooked. I am traveling and didn't get a chance to open the bag to eat for several minutes. Too long to turn around. Called the number and was offered a replacement meal ONLY if I were willing to turn around and drive back. While I realize that Wendy's are independently owned, there should really be a way for them to send some sort of credit or coupon via email to make up for issues like this. Many people eat fast food when passing through while traveling with little chance of coming across that particular store again. Very disappointed. And...

Horrible! Stood at the counter for five minutes without my son and myself being greeted although multiple employees walked by and made eye contact. Then to be greeted by a girl with her call phone up to her ear, asking what I wanted and then told me to hold on, proceed to have a full on conversation regarding the weather, giving someone a ride from work and plans for that night. Finally we order, wait no now she needs to shout to an employee in back, ok back to it, nope now someone is shouting back to her, ok now we are done. On to the food, sure it came quick. Both burgers had been under the heat lamp way too long and nuggets ice cold. I guess fresh food post lunch is too much to ask for. Really cool looking soda machine, well it did not work. When I went up to the counter the same girl goes on a rant about how this happens all the time and then starts arguing with some other employees about the soda machine, I just want a Dr Pepper and to get back on the road.
