Yafo Kitchen — Restaurant in Charlotte

We absolutely love Yafo! The food is fresh and tasty and their sauces are delicious. It’s by far, the best fast casual Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food in the city!

This is a new location so I’m sure there are some growing pains. While the food was terrific, the service here was definitely lacking. We went for lunch on Saturday. It was all high school students (I assume) working there that acted like they couldn’t be bothered with any questions about the food. They clearly did not want to be there. I think there was only 1 person that had a smile on her face. We’ve never had that experience at other Yafo locations. Hopefully this improves since we’ve been eagerly waiting awaiting this...

This area has been devoid of a good Mediterranean option for a while, so I was anxious to try this place after being alerted to it by a coworker who said it was good. Anytime there are a lot of 5-star reviews of a new place you have to be worried about fake reviews, but... long-story-short... I concur with my colleague. Very good.

If you get an entree and a drink, you're going to be close to $20... but I felt that was a fair price for what I got.

Food: Very good flavor, portions were ample. Service: Attentive and Prompt Atmosphere: Good/great. Clean, but less "sterile" than CAVA.

Constructive Criticism: Music was a little loud, turn down the volume by like 20%.

The food taste good, but it can be disappointing because I forgot until tonight...to check your bag because this happened to me 18 months ago in South Park. Tonight I ordered brussel sprouts, paid extra for it and the container I received was corn. Didn't know until we were unloading at home. Also, the take out bags with the bowls leak terrible, don't put it on your car seat...better on the floor. Again, the food flavor is good but they need to...
