I was a little hesitant to try this place since the last seafood place on 29 was not good. But, I was pleasantly surprised! We went on a Monday evening, it wasn’t busy at all. We were seated promptly, and our server was very friendly, and checked on us throughout. My husband and I both ordered seafood boils with the Piers Sauce (medium spice). The price for the one, two combo (snow crab & shrimp) isn’t bad. My husband got the sailors boil- which was almost double the price, and to me was not worth it. The boils come with potatoes and corn. You cannot substitute for different sides. So, if you want boiled eggs or sausage- they are extra. The Piers sauce was GOOD! Medium spice is still pretty spicy- so be advised. I love spice, and it was enjoyable but I was definitely feeling it. We also ordered Cajun fries- which were decent. (My husband loved them). I hope more people try this place out- and don’t compare it to the other crab place that closed down. We will definitely...

We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. If you're a seafood lover, this place should definitely be on your radar.

We ordered the Seafood Boil Captain’s Combo, and added extras like eggs and bread. Highly recommend doing the same. Everything was seasoned perfectly and came out hot, fresh, and flavorful. We also tried the Krispy Crab Fries, which were crispy and generously topped, and the Chicken Cajun Pasta, which had just the right amount of spice and creaminess.

The portion sizes were perfect with plenty to satisfy without being overwhelming and the service was excellent. Our server was incredibly friendly, attentive, and fast, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The building itself was spotless, and you could tell cleanliness is a priority.

Overall, this spot combines quality seafood, great service, and a clean, welcoming environment. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone craving a flavorful seafood meal in...

Cheap quality seafood at a reasonable price! Everything was overcooked except the hush puppies! My wife had the seafood boil and I had the fried oysters! I just didn't like it! My wife gave it a 5 out of 10! I would give it a three! They served the boil in a bag which suggested it precooked! It left a stale salty taste! Our service was good! Our table seating was poor! Tea was the only thing over priced! If you like cheap quality seafood at a good price this is your place! We are certainly seafood snobs and Charleston South Carolina is our go to place for a good boil! This had more of an Asia tone than a Cajun taste! I have looked over the reviews and over half are left by people with 10 or 12 reviews or less! In fact , it’s a good idea to check and see what others have review! Don’t...

I have such mixed feelings about this place. The service was good, the food came out piping hot. We had hush puppies and the catfish fried fish basket with fries. The Cajun fries just tasted.. weird, not at all like Cajun seasoning. And the fish was fine but it was battered in cornmeal which I guess I just don’t prefer. I think if someone really likes fried fish they would like this place. But if you’re just getting into it like me, I’d say it’s not the best. I’ll also mention the fish basket came with tartar sauce and ketchup, both of which I dislike strongly. I didn’t get a chance to try another sauce but I might have liked it better if I’d had the option. Either way this place is worth a visit, I’d go again to try the boil bags.
