Wow. All I can say is this is definitely a first. Notably, I don't usually go to places like Applebee's or Chili's because I feel like they're the family Dollar restaurants but hey, I wanted something quick and different. I was absolutely amazed at the treatment at this location. First off, I walk through the door and some gentleman that was the hostess was wearing like a t-shirt and baggy pants and messy hair and he just looked at me and said how many. No greeting or anything. Once we sat down we were sitting right beside the kiosk where servers put your order in. You can imagine my amazement when my server began taking my order from the kiosk. He walks behind me stands at the kiosk and says what can I get y'all. And I said are you not going to come over to the table and take our order? And he literally replied with no, it's much more convenient here. He did the same thing to the table behind us that was actually turned a different direction and further away. I've heard of bad service but damn. This one takes it up a notch. I asked him a question about something on the menu and he did the same thing. He stood behind me at the kiosk and pointed to my menu. At that point I also said are you not going to stand at our table? I know service has gone down to everywhere because everyone has stopped working. I get it, and I'm thankful these guys are working. However, they need better training. The food came out hot and was really good. I noticed that the boneless wings now look like Wendy's nuggets. You know like full of tendons and ligaments. That was new. I probably will not visit this location again. I can't put all of the blame on the boys. As a manager I understand it is the manager's responsibility ultimately to make sure they are doing the right job. But realistically, I don't feel a lot of people care anymore. When the server brought me my ticket he saw that I was scanning the bottom of it to leave a review. When I turn my head he took it from my table and I had to ask for him to bring it back so I could scan it. He then asked me to please leave him a...
Read moreAs much as I love eating at Applebee's, I will no longer eat at Applebee's in my hometown. The last time I went to Applebee's for a birthday event for one of my friends, for her daughter, I left a tip on the table, but apparently one of the waitress felt the need to charge my card for an additional tip without my acknowledgment. I find out a day later when my card showed my balance, and it showed a new charge for additional money taken off my card. Whenever I brought this up to one of the managers that next day she was supposed to be reporting it to the general manager. The man is it took my call gave me a $25 discount, which is great, however nothing was done about the waiter who took my money, because about two or three weeks later I ate at Applebee's again and the same waitress happened to be my waitress I had last time but in a different seating area where I was the last time.
So I waited till I got my food, and brought this up to the manager that day. She apologized and informed me that things was not handled properly and that she will let the general manager know. But obviously no one has told the general manager anything, because I have still yet to hear from him except when ended up recently calling about 5 days ago.
When I talked to the general manager Eric, he informed me that he was not made aware and that was his first time hearing about it from me speaking with him over the phone. He stated that he will look into it and reach back out to me. However I have yet to hear from him as well. Not only as a customer, but as a customer service representative, no customer should have have to experience this anywhere they go. This whole experience kept me from eating at any Applebee's in my own City. We have to do better as a community. If something is brought to a restaurant established attention something should be handled...
Read moreI took my family here tonight for dinner and I just have to say that out of all my experiences with visiting various restaurants nothing compares with the quality and friendliness of the staff at this applebees. We would like to recognize our waitress her name is Tiffany and here are some words we would use to describe her--Tiffany is hard working, kind, patient, friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and is by far one of the most impressive service specialist we have had the pleasure of interacting with. We highly recommend requesting Tiffany as your waitress but honestly if the other servers are even half as amazing as Tiffany you will still be well taken care of. The food came out in a well timed pace, we received our appetizers and salads first then our main courses came about 15 minutes later and all 9 people at my table were served simultaneously which is an impressive feat for any restaurant. The meat was cooked just how we asked for it and it tasted fresh. The vegetables are also delicious if i didn't know any better I would say the chef hand picked the vegetables from the garden just for me. With all this said if you haven't been to this applebees you absolutely must give them a visit and if you have been to an applebees before come and be prepared to have any of your past thoughts from applebees completely knocked out of the park by these genuine food and service crafters. 5 stars really isn't enough to give this applebees true justice if Google would allow it this applebees would be the first restaurant to receive a 6 star rating. Thank you all so much for making our family night out so wonderful. Tiffany we all love you and hope to see you again and we pray that God blesses you and your whole family in anything and...
