Armando's Restaurant — Restaurant in Chattanooga

Me and my family went last Thursday I believe and I just wanna say I'm not someone that usually goes and takes the time to write a review but I made sure to this time. But the waitress we had, her name was Donna, she was absolutely phenomenal. It was a pretty busy day and it seemed like she was by herself but she handled it like a champ. Most people will get overwhelmed and start getting kinda rude with customers but there wasn't a single time this lady didn't have a smile on her face and she always talked to us as well as other customers with such politeness. We didn't have to wait too long for our food and my kids are the type that wanna ask for extra this or that or extra drinks and she was always on top of it immediately. I don't know if they pay this lady well but if they don't they need too. In a business like this it's not usually the owners that keep the business alive and keep the customers coming back. It's the great cooks and the amazing waiters/waitress that give the customers great service to keep them coming back. I made sure to find out what days she worked cuz me and my family will be back but it will be on a day miss...

food was good, the service "thank you Brandi" was great..... but the owner....that's what is so sad. I have been going there for years. always had great food and service was always great . but after ordering my Burger the same way as always "double chez burger plain, lettuce, tomato and onion on the side...NO MAYO....I get it loaded with MAYO!!!!! now this isn't the first time, second time, but 3 different times. I get it mistakes happen but come on now. that's a habit not a mistake. I make this request because I am allergic to it. so I go back after not getting to eat lunch when I get off work to get my money back, they had my money and another sandwich but I didn't take sandwich, and I requested to speak with the owner. after expressing my displeasure to the Owner. she said mistakes happens and that's all.. so me not being please with that excuse. express maybe I don't need to come back..the owner said "that whats best",,,instead of reassuring me that this wont happen again she basically said DON'T COME BACK. SO with that being said ,the Owner doesn't care about ALL CUSTOMERS HEALTH...

After eating at this restaurant for over 30 years, always getting a burger and fry, I'm done. We arrived 6:38 planning to get it to go. There is a couple eating at a table and a couple ordering, then miss to much makeup( pretty sure owner) says you can't eat here we're closing. I'm sure she saw the shock in my face because she then says " I mean you can get it to go. Keep in mind that was my intention anyway. Ask me if it's for here or to go and I say to go, no problem. Ask me and I say here, ask me if I would mind getting it to go( even though it never takes more then five min to prepare and 10 min to eat) no problem. Be rude out the gate to a somewhat 30 year regular for no good reason and I'm going to say never mind and thank you. Thank you for insuring I no longer overpay for a average burger and leave 10 dollar tips for a subpar service just for nostalgic reasons.
