I am going to be honest with you all. Moe's Southern Grill, for the longest time was not one of my favorite nor ideal restaurants to dine in, but THIS particular Moe’s has changed that. Since this Moe’s location is close to my residential area, I have made two to three visits and those visits have been pleased. Not only do they welcome you with a welcoming loud greeting "Welcome to Moe's" (every joint says this) but every staff member in this location is amazing! They are always smiling, conversational, always making my order perfect the way I ask for it, and fast too without it being all messy.
The salsa bar is always full, as well as drink tops, straws, and eating utensils. The restaurant is always clean. Everyone seems to get along well with each other.
In my experiences here, the line has never been too long of a wait. Aside of the wonderful customer service and the delicious food they provide, I have come to have a higher-level respect of this restaurant and its employees. Two out of three times I have been at this location, I have brought in homeless individuals to dine with me. As I got to the cashier, to my surprise, the cashier provided me with discount towards my meal. My overall price was equivalent to if I was only paying for a personal rather for two. This has happened in two separate occasions with different employees. As someone who values the community and giving back to the community, I was pleased to see that Moe’s did the same. Rather than asking the homeless to get out the restaurant or call the police, they made sure he was fed. He was given the largest cup they had even though I had originally asked for a regular size cup. They wanted to make sure this individual had plenty of fluids to take with him after he was done with his meal.
Because of their kindness, their care to the community, I am happy to do business with them. I dine at Moe’s with a smile. I will say that I do not know if ALL Moe’s Southern Grill is this way, but this particular location definitely has my recommendation. There are some great people that work at this place. And Thank you Moe’s for going the...
Read moreFirst when you walk in the restaurant the staff wasn't friendly at all.
I was watching the staff fix the food, and when I saw how tiny those burritos were, that was my cue to get out of line and go to Chipotle.
But I said Naaa they food good! Boy was I wrong!!!!!!!
I ordered a stack, and when she put the first cheese on it, it wasn't even enough to melt, then she started putting on the toppings, I got adobe chicken, it wasn't even a full scoop! corn and it was burnt, you would have thought they would get a new batch since this was burnt-looking.
They gave me half scoop of rice and seems like 4 or 5 beans! Sour cream in a cup because I asked for it like that. When they put the cheese on, I asked for cheese twice because of the amount, it was ridiculous.
I got several sauces and they were nasty, the southwest vinaigrette tasted like plain vinegar, and didnt taste the southwest seasoning. Moe’s used to be the place, they had good food and nice size portions, my food looked like a kid’s meal, that stack was sooooooooo dry! I was so upset that my food was trash!!! Never will I ever go back to Moe’s on Gunbarrel Rd, and this is what put the icing on the cake, a man came into the restaurant holding a dog!!!
When did restaurants start letting non-service animals in restaurants?
I was waiting for the staff to say please take your dog back outside, to the car or somewhere.
But I continued to watch because I couldn't believe my eyes, the dog was at the register with the owner checking out, and guess what maybe some of the dog hair was flying around in the restaurant, Im sure it was! So with that being said, I will never ever buy food out of there again (Gunbarrel Rd) I wonder if the Hixson store like this? Sorry its so long, but I had to...
Read moreIn desperate need of new staff. I’ve been to this locations several times over the years and have never had a single issue, until tonight. We came in at about 7:30 on Sunday to get a quick to-go order and one of the gentlemen behind the counter immediately says “oh my god” out loud. Maybe they were having a bad day, whatever. Before they even acknowledged us and took our order, they were debating between themselves if they should (while standing right in front of us), considering they closed at 8. That’s when the snide comments began. The entire time the two were taking our order, all we heard were comments about how they wished they were closed on Sunday, sarcastic remarks about them taking our order, and them laughing and joking amongst themselves. and they were saying all of this loudly while they, again, were just a few feet in front of us. When we asked for some chipotle ranch, they were out and one of the workers laughed at us, and walked to the back of the store to get more, laughing and making sarcastic remarks the entire way. Not only were they loudly making comments about us, it was right in front of us the entire time they were making our order. I’ve been a manager at my store, so I get how tiring customer service can be. But this was absolutely unacceptable. I called the manager and he said he would talk to them, but considering the other reviews on this location, I doubt it. I’m not going to be one of those “you just lost my business” customers, because my 20 bucks isn’t going to make or break Moe’s. I’m just saying, being polite or at LEAST saving your remarks until we leave or until you’re out of earshot, isn’t asking...
