I don’t normally post negative reviews unless it’s that bad. If this place closes down I would not be surprised one bit. I hadn’t had Sbarro in years and was excited to get the pasta. Honestly, I don’t know how the workers there weren’t embarrassed to serve what they had. The spaghetti looked like it had been sitting out for three days. It was so dried out, it almost went back to its pre-cooked original form. It was just sitting out for that long in a vat of oily water. I would say 10% of the spaghetti in the oily vat looked normal. The baked ziti was dried out and barely had sauce on it. I unfortunately settled for the pizza because that was the only thing decent there and I was already set on Sbarro. The lettuce in the Caesar salad was brown. And we are talking about romaine lettuce which doesn’t brown as fast as iceberg. The tomatoes in the tomato cucumber salad were shriveled. I’ve never seen such a sad/embarrassing display. And what upset me most is that the employees there had NO problem selling this to the public. I mean I wouldn’t even want to feed it to my trash can, that’s how offensive the food was. Not sure what the issue is, but I really hope it is remedied soon or that place won’t be open...
Read moreUsually nice people and usually decent pizza. Here in Chattanooga at Hamilton Place Mall, most of the time the pizza isn't as fresh as I would like it, but it's ok. Today I was excited that they had a very fresh looking cheese pizza, so I pointed at the pieces I wanted and said "I'd like two pieces please". He got one piece from it and put it in the oven. A minute went by and I was about to remind him I wanted 2 pieces, but before I could, I heard him tell the cashier to charge me for two. He pulled the fresh piece out of the oven, then pulled an old piece from under the counter somewhere. The difference was night and day and was obvious. I spoke up and said "I thought I was getting fresh pizza" but was ignored. As I was paying, the manager (I think) walked by and I spoke up again and said "please don't be slipping your old pizza to me all sneaky like that". The manager sternly said "they all come out at the same time SIR" after just coming out from the back and not seeing what transpired at all. I said "not this sad piece" as I pointed. But no mend was made and I was ignored again. That's shady. The only thing that upsets me more about crappie service is getting jerked around about the...
Read moreI work in the mall and have come here often, and usually get great service. One of the young ladies told me that I got a 10% for working in the mall. And have taken opportunity of that. Well today I go down to get food, and this young lady with very short hair was at the register. She was very rude to me and got an attitude when I said I work in the mall. She then didn't offer my receipt threw it away and walked away. She then came out and asked if I was gonna give someone a discount where I worked. I said if I could I would gladly. She then said "that's what I thought." And then went on how it was funny that we ask for it but don't give it. I don't have a say in a company, and if they do not want to give it, they don't have to. She was very rude. I work in customer service, and even if I have a rude customer "although I was not", I am very nice to them. I will not return to that overpriced pizza place. This mall has plenty of other places to eat with people who are...
