McDonald's — Restaurant in Chelsea

I arrived at this McDonald’s—perched forlornly at the terminus of \in the shadow of a flicker t sign and abutting a park that has surrendered to decay—like a pilgrim reaching a neon-lit cathedral of late capitalism at the witching hour. It was just past 2:00 AM on a Wednesday, and the world felt hollowed out. The six-lane expanse was nearly empty, save for the occasional lonely car swooshing by like a lost ghost. In the distance, the Star Market’s logo glowed weary and half-burnt-out, presiding over an empty parking lot littered with a confetti of old receipts and plastic bags. The adjacent park—once presumably a cheerful patch of green where children played—now lay in sullen ruin: rusted swings that screeched softly in the night breeze, graffiti-tagged benches, and a single streetlamp casting a sickly orange halo onto overgrown weeds. This was the stage for my midnight meal, a tableau of urban entropy that could have been co-directed by David Lynch and the City of Somerville’s neglect. In my opinion, this is the best McDonald’s in the MA area. The staff are efficient & serious about their job. They work hard to dispatch the order out to the customers and the staff are usually nice to it’s patrons. (Chelsea’s Staff in 472 Broadway are more friendlier than the other McDonald’s in the area or fast food spots.) I usually have a good experience and the staff are respectful and professional for the most part. No complaints if you are doing fast food deliveries such as Ubereats, DoorDash, Grubhub, etc definitely order from them they are responsible and will have it ready for you compared to other McDonald’s. bad service it was 8:30pm and they were already saying that they would close at 10pm with a form that they wanted no one to buy. The supervisor in uniform and a very uncomfortable older lady looked ugly and passed the order in annoyance. The cashier was so embarrassed because she could see the rudeness and attitude of the supervisor. I had to make a second order since I did it through the withdrawal application and it was an offense on my part because the treatment was uglier and more uncomfortable. The boy who was cleaning swept while people ate up to their feet and cleaned the table with the food on the table very badly, intimidating everyone. It was more than an hour before closing because he said it was at 10pm but they were rushing to customers. This was today 06/10/2023...
