Miami Fusion Cafe 280 — Restaurant in Chelsea

ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND this location to any and all who want to experience authentic Caribbean cuisine! I’ve never had true Caribbean food till a real close friend who is from Miami recommended this location to us. I was so excited and eager to try everything that I almost ruined my plate lol Luckily their chief was kind enough to educate me on how he prepares every meat before cooking and serving. He saved me from ruining a dish he’s perfected. I will say, adding the agave was not something I regret simply because it made the pork taste ever so slightly sweet enough for me to still enjoy the spices slowly soaked into every bite. Their dishes and drinks were amazing and I definitely would not have mind trying more of their foods if I had the room for it all. If you enjoy Puerto Rican food, this is the place to go! One bite of their Mofongo took me back to our visit of San Juan two years ago! We met the owner, and he’s very nice! The owner gave us good recommendations for our lunch. I have to say that this place is just absolutely beautiful. The location is nice and set near a fountain and magnolia trees, and you can eat inside or out, or order takeout. Inside is clean and beautifully decorated. I think what sets Miami Fusion apart from the other restaurants is that they take pride in their food, and everything is well seasoned and well made. If you happen to be in the area, please check this place out. You will not be sorry! Would give this place 10 stars if I could. I will be coming back next week to try...

We love Miami Fusion Cafe, in all its facets! Owners Luis and Samantha Delgado, work diligently to present high-quality and a good quantity of Cuban/ Puerto-Rican fare, that is always worth the visit. Options to experience their fare include the food truck, found at various locations throughout the B'ham community, or downtown on 5th street at the original cafe, or at the more recently-opened 280 location, or the planned food boat, set to be out on local lakes in coming days.
