I used to visit this place a couple times a week for a breakfast sandwich and I have to admit the Southern Croissant sandwich is killer, BUT, when egg prices went crazy the jumped the pricing from 3.95 to 6.95 the last time I was there, and that was just Wednesday morning, soooooooooooooooo, since the price of eggs has dropped back how come they are keeping the price up so high now I ask? GREED!! To top that off? If you don't drink coffee which I do not and not into all the other fancy sugary drinks either, I drink water and when someone charges me 50 cents for a plastic cup of water that always infuriates me!! If you can't make money on your outrageous prices and have to charge for water then make them more outrageous nobody will even notice, BUT WE DO NOTICE PAYING FOR A CUP OF WATER!! Yes I know you are a coffee shop, BUT COME ON NOW, Don't you really make enough on a sandwich for 6.95? Of course you do know that some people can price out cost factors and there is no way that when eggs went up anyone was dumb enough to pay $36 a dozen, well maybe you were lol....anyway, eggs are not $36 a dozen now and there is ONLY one egg in that sandwich? Use a calculator!! Ok, just lost my favorite egg sandwich spot, guess I will have to go around the corner and stop at Walmart and buy a dozen eggs for 4 bucks and a dozen croisants for 4 bucks and some pimentto cheese spread for 4 bucks and eat home cooked southern croissant sandwiches for a week at a buck apiece!! Anyone want to drop by? I will give you a free one!! Oh, and NO CHARGE FOR A...
Read moreIâm a retired sales rep for 24 yrs, and later a retired OTR 53â Rig driver for 8 yrs. The directions given, could be best listed as shorter, but best for experienced drivers. (The exit from 280 is at the bottom of a 6% grade Mtn, turn left from medium across SE bound 280 traffic doing 50-70 mph is dangerous, at best). Safer and better is to continue 1/2 mi further to the Stop Lights at Doug Baker and turn left (lights with 2 Left Turn arrows) and follow to Second Left Turn. (Shopping area traffic, but slower.) Follow road to Movie Theater at back of parking area. Turn left and go past theater, turn left again and restaurant is on right. Much safer route, especially for New-Boâs, elderly, and visitors. Many times your maps show several routes. My recommendation is to show my suggested route in Blue and the âturn-offâ route in gray for âlight trafficâ driving without much street lights. Itâs the Back Door approach. It goes behind the theater, and folks could really feel lost. Just SayinââŠâŠ. Good luck. GB, DonW

Read moreThis small café is very unassuming and doesn't look like much from the outside but as soon as you step in you will understand why it gets such good reviews. The space is inviting and well decorated but the staff is what really sets it apart. Everyone I have had a chance to interact with, and we have been back quite a few times, was very warm, welcoming and happy to help.
They have plenty of great lunch options, from soups to salads and even some more substantial dishes for those hungry teens. All of the dishes I have had, or sampled from other members in the family, have been tasty.
On top of that, they also do a great job at the basics, which is their coffee and drinks. In fact, they even have options for the kids. My daughter begs us to stop for the kids frappe anytime we are in the area.
Overall, I would...
