I am writing to express my deep concern over the repeated unprofessional behavior of one of your employees at Wawa. The individual in question is a heavyset, light-skinned woman who typically wears a green shirt and works in the back preparing food. I have witnessed her on multiple occasions interacting rudely and unprofessionally with customers, including myself, which raises serious concerns about her suitability for a customer-facing role.
During my most recent visit, I asked for a cup to get ice, as I regularly do. I am a loyal customer who visits Wawa weekly, sometimes twice a week, and have established a positive relationship with many of your cashiers. However, when I made this simple request, this employee rolled her eyes at me, which I chose to overlook. Following that, another worker informed me of a new policy requiring payment for cups. A manager then intervened, reiterating this policy to the employee, who dismissively replied, "We should have been doing that a long time ago," and gave me a disrespectful look.
This type of behavior is unacceptable and detrimental to your business. An employee who lacks basic professionalism, soft skills, and the ability to engage with customers in a polite and respectful manner should not be representing Wawa. If this continues, it's only a matter of time before she encounters the wrong customer on the wrong day, and the situation escalates.
I strongly urge you to address this matter immediately. Whether through training, a performance review, or reassignment, this employee’s conduct needs to improve. If not, it may be in Wawa's best interest to let her go. Additionally, I contacted corporate and have yet to receive a response, which only adds to the frustration.
As a loyal customer, I find this situation not only disappointing but also ridiculous, especially when such issues seem less prevalent in your suburban locations.
I hope to see a...
Read moreMy rating is probably 2.5, but Google doesn't allow half stars. The food is like any other Wawa, but they're always out of everything. This is convenient for me to stop at to get gas and/or pick up food after shopping at the Target down the street, but twice I've had to leave without making any purchases because they were out of EVERYTHING. One time they didn't even have gift cards! How can Wawa not have Wawa gift cards? It also takes forever for food to be made. I don't necessarily mind the wait, but sometimes it seems like the employees are just wasting time talking and ordering a bunch of stuff for themselves.
Today, they offered no made-to-order beverages at all. No lattes, no lemonade, no smoothies, no milkshakes, no cold brew. How can you be out of every single ingredient to make beverages? Previously, I went and they were out of Italian meats, egg salad, donuts, cookies, brownies, and almost every beverage. I understand it's a very busy Wawa, but the Wawa on Market St. by City Hall is in a more central location, is smaller, and also seems to get a lot of traffic and they're rarely out of things. The service is a lot...
Read moreSo I just came from this location. The young lady whose name I didn't get ( but I will go back and post ) Had a issue with me asking her to chnage her gloves while making my food. 1. I realized it wasn't my sandwhich . So I just shut up. She went to change her gloves. She came back speaking with another person as she changing her gloves she starts complaining. As she's whispering ,with a attitude on her face ,she goes to say " I didnt even touch Pork". Maam you just touched everything but your ass making all these sandwiches with the same DAMN GLOVES ON. How dare you get upset because I asked you to change your gloves. If I can stop someone from making my food inappropriately I'm going to say something. I just got a refund. How dissapointing if you're tired go home early. You don't know if I had allergies, if I saw you rub ya nasty face, or I just want you to chnage your damn gloves. When I go back I'll be sure to get her name. Then report your ignorant behind. BUT I...
