Service is deplorable, and the clerk at the register is the same one preparing and cutting your food. I have observed them lacking poor hygiene when cutting the chicken. The ambiance seems to be one of selling fast and as much as possible for a quick profit, evidenced by their FRAUD practice when the buy one gets one free offer is in place. They jack up the price for a chicken and rice platter to $23, typically costing you $14, so you’re saving 2 dollars instead of getting a free item of the same class. I don't expect anything to be free in this life, but if you’re making sales stating you’re doing buy one get one free, dammit, don’t do stupid things like this thinking people won't notice. I’m reporting you for fraud to Uber Eats, the Better Business Bureau, and any other institutions that will take the claim. I’ve spent nearly USD 600 buying chicken and rice from you in the past few months and only noticed the pattern. You’ll get a lovely review like this one everywhere I can find your dishonest business! Additionally, as a business owner, I was already noticing some non-customer-first practices, like charging almost two dollars for 1-2 ounces of sauce. I hope your business goes bust!

After seeing videos on instagram decided to give this place a try. It was a bit on the pricey side for sure. We got 2 rice platters, 4 pc wings and 2 Thai tea and bottle of water it came up to about $53. The rice platter came out pretty quickly. The sticky wings we had to wait for it so we start with the rice platter. We got the grilled chicken with rice and Spicy chicken with rice. I find both of those dishes lacking flavor. The dipping sauce was definitely the highlight of the meal. I have to dip all my chicken into the sauce to add flavors otherwise it’s a bit bland. The sticky wings are definitely the star of the meal. It has a nice kick but in a good way that you want more of. The Thai tea was nothing special a bit overpriced. If I’m around the area and craving for fried chicken I would definitely stop by but I will not go out of my way for the chicken rice platter.

I went to get dessert at spot dessert and this was right next door so I tried it. The way they prepared my daughters food was very disturbing. The tall guy would not change his gloves even when I mentioned it to him the first time. He went from touching raw chicken to putting cucumbers and salad inside of my bowl. When I said something to him about it AGAIN he looked as if I had five heads. Then proceeded to act as if he understood after his coworker said something to him. He changed his gloves just to try to give me the same food he already touched with the contaminated gloves. Then he touched the dirty dishrag the computer and whatever else was in his way. I told him he could just refund me. He literally said nothing. He didn’t even apologize for his filth and continued to make orders. Grossssss Buttttt Spot dessert was GREAT!

My family lives off of Gai Chicken and Rice - we've had just about everything on the menu! And everything gets attention in our rotation. You honestly can't go wrong with any of the varieties of chicken that they offer (they are all my favorites, so please don't ask me to pick just one!), or any of the sauces (spicy green, ginger chili, and sticky Thai BBQ are my favorites). And don't get me started on the rice: Ginger rice that is soft (almost like sticky rice, but not quite) and complements the chicken perfectly. The salad is also great (I eat it with the spicy green sauce) and along with the hot vegetable broth soup (which I love!), these things round out a well-balanced and healthy meal! Speaking of healthy, there are no hormones of antibiotics in the chicken they source and serve, and as a person who suffers with gout, this makes a big health difference, and I've never experienced a gout attack from their food. We've had the wings, tenders, an fries as well - all superb. Everything is served hot and fresh. Last but absolutely not the least, the store manager, Tuan, and all the employees are always super nice and provide excellent service! This is the most important thing. Understand that we are extremely blessed to have Gai Chicken and Rice in our community - there are only 2 other locations, and both are in NY! So let's do our part to support this amazing establishment by enjoying some amazing chicken - it doesn't get any...

I was soooo super hungry when I stopped by, forgot to take a photo…. as soon as I got the food I just kept on eating and forgot all about the pictures… 🤣

I went in and stood at the counter like an idiot 🤣 I didn’t realize they have self ordering kiosk. Soooo FYI they have self ordering kiosk on the left side of the counter ok guys. 🤣🤣

If you’re on the hunt for a place that serves some seriously delicious spicy chicken and rice, look no further. I recently stopped by this spot and was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food.

The chicken here is the star of the show – crispy on the outside with just the right amount of heat to give it a kick without overwhelming your taste buds. The sauce they pair with the chicken is phenomenal; it’s rich, flavorful, and complements the spiciness perfectly.

The rice? It’s just as good. Perfectly cooked, fluffy, and packed with flavor that elevates the whole dish. Every bite was a delight, and I found myself savoring every last grain.

Honestly, everything about this meal was spot on. From the texture of the chicken to the balance of spices in the sauce, to the quality of the rice, it all came together in a way that was simply fantastic. If you’re in the area and craving something that hits the spot, this place should be at the top of your list.

Runnnnnn to Gai, don’t walk. It’s soooo damn...
