I feel bad to give this place a 3 stars, but there is a big reason why.
Let me first of say that the workers are friendly and amazing. They’re quick, they’re nice, and they’re hardworking.
The complaint I had was the drinks and the donuts. I was soooo excited to try the donuts because I love donuts, especially donuts that aren’t too sweet compared to a Krispy Kreme one or a Dunkin one. The donuts were meh. They weren’t bad at all, but they weren’t fantastic either. I tried to choose very different flavors to try and majority of them lacked flavor. Most of them tasted too similar to each other. The matcha flavor tasted exactly the same as a funnel cake flavor for example. It was so weird. Durian was the only thing that I could tell by the flavor and wasn’t as bland. It’s also not as soft as the other mochi donuts my sister has tried apparently. It’s chewy, which is fine by me, i like it, but it’s just not soft. I feel like it’s too expensive for what I am receiving. I wouldn’t mind spending the money if the donuts weren’t so bland.
The drinks were bland too. I was really excited to try the drinks because of the unique can(which I still think is awesome) but the flavors weren’t great. I was excited to try Ube but it tasted like a water down taro and I drank my boba after a minute of getting it. Milk tea is also very watered down. I was really upset. I would just stick to a different boba shop if you want boba.
THE REAL WINNER IS THE KOREAN HOT DOGS THOUGH! They are made to order, hot, delicious, and comes with different varieties such as ramen, original, hot Cheetos, etc. You can get one with just all hot dog or one with all cheese or half and half. This stuff is amazing.
I will be coming back to this place but only for the Korean hot dogs. I cannot see myself ordering the donuts or drinks at all. I am not sure if I came at a bad day and bad time that things just don’t taste right? But if that’s the case, that’s just unfortunate.
Again, this place is good, the staff is friendly, the Korean hot dogs are fantastic,...
Read moreSo dont expect this is a donut it no where near a donut, its just shape as one. It isnt a donut, it a "donut" made with rice flour. It just Mochi dough.(google of you dont know what mochi is) I didnt like it. I love mochi, because of the thick rice flour dough, chewyness and the filling inside. But this just mochi, with no filling inside and just the topping out side. Its EXTREMELY sweet for no reason and super light. PLUS is 3 for $9. Too expensive but did it for the experience. They sell bubble tea which is tasty, but they fill the can with ice so your basically paying less than 8oz of drink for $5 when in kungfu tea your paying $5 for a large and can ask for no ice or little to even make it more than 10z for large.
Like this is literally like just a one time experience. The hotdog are absolutely delicious but the freaking hot dogs are also too expensive $5 for the original , and $6-$7 for the more special ones.
This is a place to only try once, or go out with your friends to try together, other than that your breaking your wallet for just a tiny snack. I spend a total of $24 just for 3 small light airy mochi, 1 hot dog, and a small drink, now imagine going on a date that twice amout of money lmao??
i am only coming back to try all the hot dogs tho lol but warning ⚠️ it wrap with rice dough so it lacks every flavor a normal hotdog/corndog has. Technically it isnt worth it but...
Read moreThis place was empty when I stopped by before 3pm. I'm thinking maybe it's just the time so it's not busy at all.
No one was out front so I decided to ring the bell that was near the cashier. A lady walked out from the kitchen. She has no smiles, no enthusiasm, looking tired, and gave me a feeling that I am interrupting her. Then I asked a few questions regarding about their products before decided what to order. The entire experience at the shop was just not welcoming in my opinion.
Let's talk bout their food now. I ordered a Coffee milk tea and a nutella mochi donut. I was debating to buy an ube flavor to try, but the attitude that the lady was talking to me didn't motivate me enough to try, instead she makes me just want to leave the shop. The coffee milk tea was too too sweet. I feel like i'm drinking sugar. I took 2-3 sips and just cant finish that off. The mochi donut was alright, but other places I've tried were more chewy. The icing on the top was more melty too. If you prefer melty icing and not as chewy mochi donut then good to try.
I'm not sure if it is only because this location isn't as good as other places. But I feel skeptical to even try...
