Spot Dessert Bar — Restaurant in Cherry Hill Township

I have been wanting to try this place for so long but it’s not close to home however, it’s close to my husband’s work so when I had a chance I stopped by which happened to be a tough day for me. I go in there happy because at least I finally get to try it first of all there is only one other customer and the place was very confusing. The server asked me if it’s for here or to go I said here so she tells me to sit I do and then she takes a few minutes and doesn’t come back to take my order so at that point I tell her I’ll order at the counter I have to use the rr(I’m pregnant) I ordered the Nutella drink and a matcha cookie I think it was around $13-14 including tip I go back to my seat and she calls me over to go pickup my order. Unsure why she couldn’t bring it to me when it’s clear I’m huge in belly and I said I’m sitting in. I then am looking for the trash to toss my items there is only one by the employee section that she points for me to go toss it. For new customers this is so confusing how this place operates and why there are menu items and to go items and how do I know to sit on my own if there are no signs at least say welcome in have u been here before she honestly didn’t look happy either I was there or with her job I wanted to come with my husband or friends since the desserts look good but I def would never come back this was the most awkward interaction of my life. Spot Dessert Bar in Cherry Hill, NJ is a super cute meet-up or date spot (see what I did there... Lol). All of the desserts and beverages we tried were amazingly delicious, very creative and freshly made.

What We Ate:

🍯 Mini Golden Toast - Honey buttered toast, strawberries, whipped cream, honey, powdered sugar, cookie crumb and condensed milk ice cream.

🍓 Harvest - Layers of strawberries, soft cheesecake, chiffon cake, whipped cream oreo crumbs, earl grey milk tea and raspberry ice sorbet.

🍌 Milky Puff - Choux-puff pastry, brulee banana, white chocolate honeycomb, corn flakes and condensed milk ice cream.

OMG! The presentation is beautiful. It's served warm with a whipped cream center and the brulee banana is a banana lovers dream. This dessert has a fun texture with the pastry, whipped center, ice cream and crunch from the corn flakes.

🍪 Oreo Chocolate Cookie

The thing that stands out among all the desserts and especially the condensed milk ice cream, they aren't too sweet. They're all perfectly balanced.

What We Drank:

🧋Bubble Tea: Passionfruit Green Tea

My friend loved the passionfruit green bubble tea! She said it wasn't too sweet, it was very fresh and perfect!

☕ Latte: Wonderfully made.

I see why the price point for the menu is where it is. The homemade desserts, beverages and ambiance are worth the adventure. The Spot is elevated beyond being just a bakery or a coffee shop. I wouldn't classify this venue as being good for children... Absolutely an adult vibe.

Food:

Milky Puff Tasted like delicious cereal milk. Fresh, soft cream puff. Sweet, milky flavors. Definitely one of my favorites.

Harvest Super unique dessert with a stunning presentation. Earl grey milk tea really enhanced the flavors. The raspberry sorbet was outstanding, and I’m a sucker for Oreo crumbs. My boyfriend’s top pick!

Golden Toast Crispy yet fluffy toast. Sweet and sugary, paired perfectly with condensed milk ice cream and fresh strawberries.

Peachy Pome Bright, fruity flavors inside a crunchy shell. Soft and unique.

Caramel Miso Cookie Unique and soft, with chewy caramel.

White Chocolate Fig Cookie Sweet, chewy, and similar to a Fig Newton. Freshly baked.

Drinks:

Taro Milk Tea Creamy and comforting. Taro never disappoints!

Rose Milk Tea Surprisingly, I liked this even more than the Taro! Strong rose flavor and extra creamy.

Passion Fruit Mango Fruit Soda The sorbet was absolutely divine. Refreshing and perfect for summer.

I was thrilled to be invited to experience this dessert spot with my boyfriend and a friend. We had such a fun time trying the beautifully presented, fresh, and unique desserts and drinks.

I’ve also been to their NYC location, where I tried the taro ice cream with Oreo crumbs—absolutely incredible!

The staff was incredibly kind, and I will definitely be back. Highly recommend stopping by—you won’t regret it!
