Update - 11/3/23 - Decided to try them again, as the other Jersey Mikes by Moorestown Mall always gets the order right, but I was passing right by this one. When I went in, the music was so loud I was asked to repeat myself 2-3 times almost every word I said. They asked for my partners name for the order, they said it back to him twice, incorrectly. I had to practically shout it and say it slowly for the guy to understand.. My partners name is Devin, the guy kept calling him Jeff. My partner ordered his sandwich, which was easy enough, chicken bacon ranch. I asked for two number 8s (club sub), one regular with light lettuce, one giant with no vinegar. I was asked about 2 or 3 times during them making the sandwiches (between the guy cutting the meat, who I believe is the manager, and the guy putting on the ingredients) what I wanted again.. and after they put the meat on the #8 regular, they asked what I wanted on the Italian.. I wasn't even sure if they were talking to me at first, because I didn't order an italian.. they seemed very confused by that... They eventually remade the #8 regular with the correct meat, and it had light lettuce, but unfortunately the giant was DRENCHED in vinegar, it was basically inedible and I ended up throwing away half of it. They told me to stand to the side to wait for my food because people started coming in to order and pick up online orders, so unfortunately I missed them putting on the vinegar because they had about 5 or 6 sandwiches all lined up and I wasn't even sure which was mine.. that's my bad. But don't ask me 2-3 times what I want on a sandwich than continue to make it wrong. The person ringing me out, I believe, is the other manager there.. she was very friendly, but at no point did anyone step in and correct the guy that was building the sandwich wrong.
The last 3 times I ordered from there, the orders were completely wrong (I should have learned after the first and second times).. the orders consisted of incorrect ingredients and missing sandwiches. Reported it to the manager and went back to get a sandwich that was left out of my order, got home and discovered that it was made completely wrong. Spoke with the manager again, she apologized and said she would send a few coupons for having so many issues, however I never received them (it's been well over a month). Tried to call the store to talk to that manager and got hung up on as soon as I asked for her. Upon calling back and asking why I got hung up on, the person was very rude saying "actually I didn't hang up on you, our phones are messed up". I asked to speak to the manager and she said she's not there. I asked if she'll be in tomorrow, she simply said no. I asked when she'll be back, and she said maybe Thursday after lunch. Terrible customer service, and I wouldn't count on getting the correct order from...
Read moreordered on DoorDash I’m born and raised in Point Pleasant NJ, have been eating Mike’s Subs for as long as I’ve been eating food, one of the best things about Mike’s Subs was their quality control and consistency across all locations. The order I just received if I didn’t order it myself I wouldn’t have believed it was Jersey Mike’s subs. I’m not sure if this was a fluke or related to the recent corporate buy out but this order was nothing like the standard quality and consistency of normal. Firstly, I called the location to specify peppers and pickles on the side instead of on the sandwich since I’m unable to note in the app, the store was super nice said no problem yes, confirmed my specific order, etc. Got the order- pickles and peppers on sandwich, ok. Sandwich also had the most gigantic pieces of lettuce I’ve ever seen that looked like they were ripped up by hand as compared to the standard finely shredded lettuce. Also didn’t have condiments on order that were chosen. Note- this wasn’t a crazy order it was a tuna sub with lettuce, mayo, vinegar, CPR and peppers, pickles on side....
Read moreSimply put, you will not find a better sub shop that has more than one location. Mom and pops and one-offs like Jacks in NE Philly or your favorite deli may be able to compete but as for franchises, i.e. a place you can go to in multiple locations and expect the same thing, Jersey Mike’s blows every other shop out of the water and there’s really no competitor that can match. Every single sandwich includes bread that was baked in the store that day, roast beef cooked in the store that day, and all meats sliced specifically for your order. Every time. No presclicing, no staging, everything 100% fresh made to order. What else is there? Get to know your store and they’ll hook you up free sub coupons. At $9 per, this is the original “rewards program” and its great to see this shop from point pleasant NJ turn into a national franchise. 5/5
Edit: realizing this looks like a hail corporate review but I’m just a die hard fan...
