Itās unfortunate how terrible my experience was at this Chick-fil-A (400 Haddonfield Rd, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002). I come here almost every Saturday for lunch since my office is right down the street. I support Chick-fil-A for not just their delicious food, but normally their exquisite customer service. However, today has made me not only never want to go back to this location again, but to make sure I tell everyone I know to never spend another penny at this location ever again.
We walked in and stood all the way back towards the straw/napkin/condiments table to browse the menu before stepping to the counter to order. There were two cashiers working. A young girl, who at the time had no customers, and a young guy who was helping the only other people in there ordering at this time. She looked at us and said āI can help the next guest.ā I smiled and said āOne second pleaseā as we were still deciding what to order. Unfazed, she repeated herself while looking directly at us, the only people in line, āI can help the next guest.ā I replied, āIām sorry weāre still looking. One more moment.ā She immediately replied while still looking at us without any sign of a smile on her face, āI can help the next guest.ā Thatās when another person I was with politely replied, āWhen weāre ready weāll come up to the counter to order.ā
At this time she stepped back from the counter, walked over to the other cashier who was done helping the customers before us, exchanged words quietly, and they both rolled their eyes and looked at us. At this point we were ready to order. We approached the counter, and the young lady immediately turned around and walked away into the back of the restaurant. The young guy from the other register had his back facing us and was ripping apart boxes and throwing the pieces in a garbage can. One of the people I was with said āexcuse me buddy weāre ready to order.ā He sighed loudly, shrugging his shoulders in an annoyed gesture, threw the piece of cardboard in an angry and and exaggerated motion into the trash, and approached the counter and stared at us.
At this point we asked for a manager to take our order. Iāve never, in the 20+ chick-fil-a locations Iāve been to, ever been treated like this. It was a disgusting display of unwarranted attitude. We took our seats, only to be brought out the wrong food for one of the orders.... so we had to return it to the counter and ask for what was ordered. The manager offered the three of us each a coupon, which was very nice of her. However, this doesnāt make up for the way both of those cashiers acted. It seems this Chick-fil-A does not take the companyās values seriously... especially when choosing...

I always felt Chick-fil-A, until this experience, has always been the pinnacle of excellence. Its restaurant personify professionalism and good customer service. Today I took my sister to this cherry hill, nj location. Sister had accumulated 4363 points. A novice, she had no idea how to redeem so she asked cashier how to ā¦. Rep was clueless so she asked a coworker to assist. I had went to menās room as the 2 reps were talking to sister. I āassumedā reps were competent to assist. when I returned they had both told her she had to register her debit card first. Huh? NO you donāt. I came back asked what were they doing and they assured my sister it would not show on her card after transaction. Sister and the two reps had no idea how to redeem. She then saw the debit on her card seconds later. we asked to speak to the person āin chargeā, Jorge. He was rude and inconsiderate . He was chastising and condescending, telling sister she was supposed to hit āredeem pointsā but he did not know the two airheads instructed her on what to do while I step away and did not offer that key point. He had no problem with promptly refunding sisterās $ in front of all the customer, disposing of food in the trash. No apology for miscommunication of staff to customer just ā here is your refund,ā, in the trash with a scowl on his face and āGood byeā. It was the FIRST time I left a Chick-fil-A unhappy. I was seeing stars. Not to mention embarrassing as I recommended place to her. He was a deviation from the norm. BADD EXPERIENCE Kicker to this is my sister has total of 4363 in points which means 2 things: she eats there a lot and she never used points before. Guess I should never had went to menās room ā¦please talk to the mgr. Or give Jorge a mop instead of a title. What is up with that restaurant...

I spit it out in a cup it tasted like fish and smelled like fish ONLY PROBLEM IS CHICK-FIL-A DOESNāT SERVE FISH so whatever the heck this was itās not served by Chick-fil-A I called the restaurant and the associate essentially said since your ordered your food we donāt really care. Like bro what does me ordering through Grubhub have to do with this unidentified fish blob that was in my large fries of a completely sealed and intact bags. Non of my family ate our 60$ worth of food and we all went to sleep hungry this place got some weird stuff going on watch what you are eating from here this is so nasty what if I was allergic to fish? Like it has scales whatever it is so it was def fish at one time ugh Iām so mad and sick right now and for you guys to not even a damn is craaaaaazy Chick-fil-A you guys are awful this location is awful and your service is awful. Grrrr Iām so disgusted and angry right now.
