My online order was supposed to be ready at 11:15am. Got there early at 11:05am and let them know I was there so that they had a little time while I did some shopping to get my order. According to my receipt, I paid for the items at 11:24am and my online order still had not been brought up.
Several other people's online orders were brought up that came in after me and I started getting a little frustrated (for me, that just means I stopped smiling).
Finally, I asked if there was an issue with my order because it's still not here. a new cashier had come in since then, so she went to the back to find out what's happening. Finally, at 11:45am, someone comes from the back with part of my order and apologize is that not all of my items were available. No big deal, it happens (they did give me a credit for my inconvenience for the item being out of stock and my having to wait for it to be shipped instead). It's not their fault. I asked her why it took them so long to tell me. She said that she was just told that I was here.
So, for all that time I was just standing there without anyone in the back knowing that I was there waiting for my order.
What frustrated me the most was the fact that the original cashier that I told that I was there, kept telling people not to worry about me because she had already told the people in the back that I was there. Don't you think that if she realized that I had been waiting for as long as I was that perhaps it might be a good idea to check in on them and find out what the holdup was? Instead, she just kept telling people not to bother.
Otherwise, everyone else handled the situation very...
Read moreThe Container store always seems to have what we need as well as much more. I typically enter the store with a goal to buy one or two items, and an hour or more later I’ve collect three or four more products. I frequently wonder the aisles, selecting products that I think might help at home, and then taking photos of each so that I can check them when I get home. It’s useful to also capture the price tag along with dimensions. For whatever reason, I find this is more helpful than staring at their web site.
The staff members are always cheerful, knowledgeable about their products, the applicability of those products compared to your perceived needs, and the store is always spotless and shelves are well-organized, in spite of people like me that always disturb the location of items on those shelves. Stop in and get some organization in your life and relieve your...
Read moreMy daughter, grandson and I went to the KofP location. the staff was RUDE, and UNHELPFUL. Basically, we were told to do the process online., makes me wonder WHY they have a job. Now, I don't know if this was because we were black and they didn't believe we were ready to buy or not. But, what they didn't know, is my daughter just closed on her new home and the contractor is opening up one of the bedrooms which will be used for her walk-in closet space. We left and went to IKEA. the staff there were very helpful in assisting us with putting together a closet system. I just wanted to let your management and owners know how you're running/ruining their business...Your loss...
