Ok here goes cause it's two parts to this. I a moving so I have been making rounds to places I remember. I remembered Amore Mondays at Carrabs. I walk in all proud and ready to the Bar. Before I know I was looking goofy. They was looking me like I was a throwback customer. They aint have that in years. So I slid out of there with my head up still looking goofy. So today I had to choose between Fudruckers and Carrabs. I was gonna check out the Turkey Burgers at the Rucker. Hint Hint. But I decided to check out the Happy Hour at Carrabs. I came to sample the Happy Hour Menu. Since I Don't Eat Sea Roaches my Bad, Shrimps or Octupus or Charlotte's Web Animals. 😎So I got the Mezzaluna Fritte it was good but I felt they was hiding the chicken. Julia did state they used a shredded chicken. My thing is even of the put one shred of chicken let us know it's there. But it still was very. Good. I am basically being petty trying to find falt. Big back eaters people, please don't order that cause you will be grumpy after reading the ingredients. Next the Bruschette Caprese you know i spelled that straight from the menu. The way they made that I think it was the prize of the night. They did they thing with that. 🤓 It wasn't a lot but it was enough cause they put the cheese in the middle and allow me to put it on the bread. Ok being petty now. They went ham with all those tomatoes. Save some money on that. But me loving chopped I am taking those surplus and sauteeing them with something. I will figure it out. Lastly those Calabrian Wings that name was like these better be 🔥. When I got them they looked nothing spectacular. I was worried about hooking up my Bruschette. Ok this is how they got me with the wings. They Kept it super simple. As I was about to get snappy, I realized they was telling me we don't need no gimmicks for our wings if they are cooked to perfection. They was so well cooked it was like a slap in the face from auntie cause in insulted her food gifts. Ok being petty please create a house sauce to go with those wings. Like that vinnegratte at Chipolte 🫡. And I had two Pomegranate Martinis. I told her change the glass so I didn't get busted drinking it. She knew the assignment. Out of 10 they get a strong 8 for Happy Hour. That is high praise cause only God Cooking for...
Read moreToday I visited the Carrabba's on battlefield on my way home from my doctor's appointment. I do not get to partake in Carrabba's as often as I would like because there aren't many where I stay. However, when I walked in I was greeted right away. When I was seated I was immediately greeted by my waitress as she got me something to drink. She came back in a few minutes with bread and the olive oil mixture and her assistant made everything up for me. My waitress whom we shall call Superwoman offered some suggestions and some new menu items. I decided to have the lamb t-bones, Italian salad, sauteed spinach, and mashed potatoes. I gave pretty vague instructions on the cooking of my lamb however, when it came out it was cooked to perfection and seasoned very well! Throughout my dining experience my waitress and her assistant were very on point with ensuring they met all of my needs. It was during lunch hour and there were lots of people there. However I noticed that my waitress Kee Kee and her assistant Stefany we're not just very attentive to my table but to every table they were assigned which put a smile on my face. Kee Kee wore the biggest smile and was very knowledgeable and made my dining experience one to enjoy! I also want to thank the cook that prepared my lamb t-bones, Sergio, and tell.him he knocked it out of the park!! I really appreciate great service and great food. I will be going back soon and hopefully Kee Kee, Stefany, and Sergio are working!! For the service alone I would have loved to offer more...
Read moreMy husband and I order curbside pickup a few times a month. Usually, the service/ food is great. Any time there's been an issue with either food missing or left sitting for over, at minimum, 40 minutes past the said "foods ready for pick up" time, is when 1 particular female manager (higher up of the wait staff) is working. The latest issue was the last straw for me. Even after multiple people went inside the curbside door (after waiting 30+ minutes), just to get someone's attention about the orders, they still waited at least another 15-20 minutes and had to go back inside to get the orders! The 1st time I went in, after waiting 20 minutes without any interaction, I was confronted by said manager. No greeting, hi, nothing, just "who you picking up for? " ok, w/e, told her my name, she didn't say anything else to me, just turned and yelled out to any staff that was listening, "I don't know who's working curbside, but there's another lady looking for her order" I get shit gets busy, crazy, frustrating, but as the manager, do better with your customer service. The poor girl who was working curbside alone (she was so young and nervous) finally came out and apologized bc after 45 minutes, I went back in to find my order had been sitting there, ready, for at least 10 minutes. She explained they had gotten busy and what else was going on. I really felt for her.. she was clearly put in a shitty situation, probably being taken advantage of job duty wise. This manager needs a...
