This place is a nightmare. I only visited twice and will not be going back. The first night I visited an ambulance was parked outside because a woman was drugged and injured herself passing out at the bar. Watch your drinks ladies. This place caters to violent men more than you.
Also, a bartender approached me to threaten me because she and I had a personal falling out. I told management directly. I told another bartender. She came back and harassed us both. Management did nothing. I was afraid to leave the bar by myself knowing this girl's criminal past and knowing women are being drugged at that place. One security guy refused to walk me to my car.
After spending so much of my hard earned money at that place for a mechanical bull ride, a single drink, and wings that seem to be priced by the drumstick, you'd think staff would care about my personal well being. I overheard the management tell the one waitress who bothered to help me that they don't have time for 'just one customer'.
He also seemed unnecessarily patronizing to the woman who was helping me. These mothers are not paid enough by this establishment. They survive off tips and their hourly wages are pathetic. No wonder their establishment attracts criminals like my thieving ex roommate. If you're a dishonest businesses, you'll weed out the workers with good moral character and be left with only the ones who care as little as you do.
Care more about protecting the women who enter your space. Pay your workers more. Don't hire criminals or keep them on when they harass customers. Make sure your staff do their jobs. I don't like bars at the best of times, but this one is especially bad.
Edit: for what I experienced at your bar, your response is inadequate at best. Anyone can talk themselves up, but your actions speak volumes more to me than your words do. This is a fair review for the way I was treated, the things I witnessed, and the way I wasnt believed when I came to you for help. I won't be going back here because unlike your business, I...
Read moreWhat should have been an enjoyable evening among friends turned into a distressing encounter highlighting deeply concerning racial biases within the establishment.
Upon attempting to enter the premises with my black friend, who was impeccably dressed in dark green slacks, dress shoes, and a crème-colored sweater, we were met with unwarranted scrutiny and discrimination. Despite his attire meeting any reasonable standard of dress code, my friend was subjected to humiliating treatment at the hands of the security and manager.
Witnessing the distressing scene unfold, we watched in disbelief as my friend was singled out, forced to lift his shirt to verify the nature of his slacks, only to be arbitrarily labeled as wearing "athletic wear" due to the elastic waistline—a completely unjustifiable assertion, especially considering his attire was comparable, if not more dressy, to that of other patrons who were granted entry without question.
Adding to the indignity, it was impossible to ignore the glaring double standard in the enforcement of dress code. White patrons were allowed entry wearing leggings and gray sweatpants, while we were asked to step aside for our "athletic wear."
What transpired that evening was not only deeply troubling but a stark reminder of systemic racism. The blatant double standard applied by The Eagles Nest is utterly unacceptable and cannot be overlooked.
In light of this egregious display of discrimination, I urge others to reconsider supporting The Eagles Nest. It is incumbent upon us to hold businesses accountable for their actions and strive for inclusivity and equality in all...
Read morei really like eagle's nest! it's an interesting spot with three different dance floors that separately play live music, hip hop/rap/rnb, and country music with line dancing. theres an outdoor area as well with a fire or two going, lots of tables, and i think some games. im usually in the hip hop section and the past few times ive been, the DJ has seriously flopped. to the point where most if not all of the dance floor is still and looking around like we cant get down to this. it's heartbreaking because it really is a great spot and i go there to dance and have fun and get drinks, but it's hard when every other song isnt really a dancing song. with a different playlist, i think the dance floor would genuinely transform and be the floor everyone wants to be at. im also pretty tired of the cupid shuffle and cha cha slide. theyre classics, sure, but it's played most every weekend it seems like, maybe even friday AND saturday. it just provides an unnecessary break because then the dance floor is taken up by the monotonous movements of these dances for three mins straight. it just isnt fun on a regular basis like that, and kind of kills the vibe. i enjoy this club, the drinks, and the atmosphere. ive never had a problem with security or anything such as. everyone is cordial and kind, as are the bartenders. but the playlist/DJ needs serious work. if the music was fixed, it would be my genuine go to spot on the weekends. i always recommend everyone to go but it's hard to sell because of the music. otherwise, i really...
